The term "does not change in between" means that the former ceases and the latter arises. Explaining the latter half means "this is long." The term "at that time" refers to the final stage. The term "without sequence" means that all parts exist simultaneously at that time, so the grasping is also without sequence. If one thinks, "Does the object not also exist? How can it be said that the object does not exist?" To avoid this, it is said "without increase." If one says, "It is so," then one must acknowledge that the non-increase itself is another increase. Another increase is different because there is no difference. Even so, it is endless, and "it itself" refers to effort. "It" is because the nature is no different from the previous one. The other is effort. The term "the last wisdom" is because it has not been experienced, so it will not become an unpleasant memory, and the previous wisdoms have not been experienced either, so they are not memories, but only the last one will become a memory. To clarify this, it is said, "The previous wisdoms are," referring to those that grasp the former part of the long. If one thinks that only the last one grasps the long, and it also has experience, so the long will become a memory, then it is said, "The last one also." The term "therefore" is because all the wisdoms that grasp the former and latter parts of the long have not been experienced. The term "that is also in other aspects" means that it is also said here, for example, the wisdom that grasps the sound part, combines due to the cause of rapid entry, just like language, the wisdom of the wisdom that grasps the letter part, the nature that the wisdom of the letter does not have enters quickly, so it can be said that the letter itself becomes a distinction. The aspect of temporary dwelling is what is said as "short two." The term "the only wisdom" refers to the wisdom of the form such as "this is the only nature of the letter." The term "for the latter ones" refers to the nature of the parts such as the long letter, that is, the explanation of the form that the short two has. Even so, there are distinctions. However, just as saying that the short two has distinctions, so do the long ones, etc.

If it is said that it is also so in the statement, then here it is said "this." The so-called "this" refers to this which appears as the aspect of cessation. If, because of not seeing, one does not immediately generate wisdom and tries to establish it, then at that time one should accept non-perception as a valid cognition. At that time, only the part of the letters appears to be cut off, because the measure of non-seeing also exists in that which is not cut off. Therefore, since it is not a measure of non-seeing, it is not possible to determine that there is no cutting off. When stating "long" etc., whatever is the absence of the arising of the wisdom of cutting off, which is desired by those who have reason etc., to establish non-existence, Is that non-perception itself the establisher of non-simultaneity desired by the Buddha? Or is it for you, for the Buddha? "Not abiding" means that the meaning of this itself is that there is no opportunity. When connecting the meaning, it refers to the eye etc. Just as at one time, two eye consciousnesses with one vase as their object do not arise. In "the grasped and the grasper," the consciousness that grasps sound is the grasped, and that which has it as its object is the grasper. In that way, for the time being, it is said that there is no clear appearance in discrimination. Now, stating from the point of view of acceptance, it is "even if it appears clearly." If the established proponent asks, "What harms it?" the opponent answers, "It is interrupted." The "also" here refers to who is making the sound, that is, stating "long" etc. Whatever is the same as what was previously experienced and what is being experienced, that is the nature of holding it in that way. Or do you think that what is now made an object of experience by memory is also held by direct perception? Therefore, it is said, "By the object of memory." Recognition is the nature of direct perception, therefore, is it the nature of abiding in a permissible object? The nature of what was previously seen is not abiding in a permissible object, therefore, since recognition that holds the nature of abiding in a permissible object does not hold it, how can it hold the nature of the previous and the later? To show this, it is "if that is the case" etc.
