If one thinks that it will not become the meaning itself, it is said (in the scriptures) that it is by knowledge itself. The phrase "all blue" means that blue existing in other places and times can also be cognized, because the nature of knowing is the same as the nature of not knowing. If one thinks, how then is it cognized? It is said (in the scriptures) "its nature." If one says that only things that arise from similarity can cognize, and that this is merely a designation, this statement is also non-existent, because other things can also be seen. Saying "that itself" refers to twins. Later knowledge is the same as previous knowledge in its nature of knowing, and in this way, experience also becomes something that can be cognized. Just as blue and so on are things that can be established, experience should also be regarded as something that can be established. Therefore, if one thinks that experience itself is what is desired, then how could it be a fault? It is said (in the scriptures) "that is not." Similarly, if one examines different things that can be established for blue and so on, that is not possessing wisdom. Examining experience itself as something that can be established is sufficient, what is the point of examining the meaning? This is (the author's) thought. "In that" refers to appearing as hairs and so on. "In all places" means that it is also the same for appearing as pillars and so on. Similarly, without an external meaning, the knowledge of pillars and so on arises, because it is the same as appearing as hairs and so on, and because it refutes non-deception and so on. If one thinks that the contradiction of non-deception disappears, because it is the same as the previous knowledge of pillars and so on, it is with an object of focus, and because it is the same as appearing as hairs, it will become without an object of focus, (the author) if one thinks in this way, it is said (in the scriptures) "contradiction." If one asks why there is no grasping of connection, it is said (in the scriptures) "the meaning is." If one thinks, how then is the establisher of experience cognized? If one thinks that it is because it has not been seen, it is said (in the scriptures) "the previous seeing." If one thinks that the meaning is not the object of focus of the previous knowledge of pillars and so on? If one thinks that then it should also be examined, it is said (in the scriptures) "meaning." "If it is another aspect" means that when, after the knowledge of the aspect of blue, the knowledge of the aspect of blue arises

At that time, it temporarily transforms like this. By what is yellow known, and at the time of its arising, what is it that is closely established? This is not an obstruction, so it is said. This shows that it is precisely because there is an interval here that the blue consciousness is made to be closely established. Just as it is certain that the world experiences meaning, it is not possible to be certain that experiencing is experiencing. Therefore, since the certain result is not seen, experiencing is not experiencing. Thus it is said that experience will also certainly become certain. Some say that even in the experience of mirages and so on, one sees illusions, mistaking them for the nature of water and so on. Therefore, the experience of consciousness is also not certain because of illusion, so how can it be established that there is no experience since there is no certainty? That is its meaning. Therefore, it is said that even if there is an experience of the meaning of mirages and so on, there is no certainty, and in dreams and so on, even if that meaning is not there, it will be there. That is merely abiding in the experience of meaning. However, how should one distinguish and establish "this is experience"? Because there is no certainty. So it is said that this is experience. However, if one determines that there is no experience precisely because there is no certainty, then the answer to this is to say that it is a cause. Without experience means that the previous experience, whatever it was, no longer exists. It is said in this way because there is no certainty. The nature of experience is not appearance, and if you think so, then what is there to examine about this? Only there is meaning, so it is said. If seeing becomes more excellent, even so, it is not another appearance, so it is said. That is the nature of awareness that is called clear, it is seeing meaning. If one thinks, what else can the sound of clarity that appears as white and so on say? You say that what is desired by Brahmins and reasoners and so on is that the subsequent consciousness uses sounds such as understanding through meaning as the agent. To refute after distinguishing and observing the action itself is to say if that is the case. If the action is merely more than meaning, then that is also realization. For that action, there is also another realization.
