If it is not from the experience of arising memory, then there is no difference at that time, because of that reason, memory will arise for all things. If it is said that memory does not arise for all things such as distant things, then things are called "things." Because even for distance and obstruction, only memory arises, because that is distance, etc. Because it does not harm the arising of memory, it will become that memory will arise for all things. If it is said that relying on experiencing that thing itself is the cause, then the experience itself will become the cause. Therefore, experience is not the cause of things, but it is still some kind of experience. If it is said that memory can specify the image consciousness related to the image, even so, it is not thought of that way. That is "by what intention." "From that" means from the example. "For those who have such a nature" refers to those who have the nature of grasper and grasped. Then, wisdom is something that needs to be clarified because it can be recognized by its own nature. If it is thought that things are also clarified because they can be recognized, then what is said about this is "two inferior wisdoms." For example, although the senses can clarify things, it is not certain that they can recognize their own nature, and wisdom is the same. In order to explain this principle, the senses are cited. If it is said, etc., this is to welcome the other party's doubts about having become a Buddha. "That is not" is refuting. "There" refers to the self. "Explaining the latter half" refers to "with other substances." "For the part where you answer becoming a Buddha." For things that do not exist to be understood by others, it is said that way. "In order to understand that" means for things to be clear. Oil lamps, etc., are not like that, which means they do not depend on other clarifiers. If it is thought that oil lamps can also clarify the senses, then it is said, "The senses are also." "That" refers to the oil lamp. If it is thought that happiness, etc., are understood by the self, so there is no other way of knowing, then it is said, "Happiness, etc." "Outside" means that like a vase, etc., it will appear in the external realm. Due to the power of being held together by a suitable collection.

If it appears that happiness, etc., are not external, then at that time, it becomes one's own awareness. It is said that combining and gathering is from things that are not established separately, like a vase and a woolen cloth. If I and happiness, etc., are also established as not being separate, then at that time, because there is no difference, it becomes the very nature of self-awareness, meaning like myself. This is merely said after admitting combination and gathering, but in reality, it doesn't exist, saying "gathering" means this. Whatever knowledge enters with the thought, "What is it?", that itself is the grasper, and whatever does not enter, that itself is the grasped, saying that neither of these is, that is "that is not." "Even if it exists" means, even if there is the thought, "Is it?" Not seeing is not being self-aware. "Likewise" means being associated with the thought, "I am." In blue and so on, the thought "I am" is seen. But for form and so on, it is not.

That ego-grasping which is related to something is related to that body. Furthermore, because there is no ego-grasping, a wall does not become self-cognizant, because is it not self-cognizant because of ego-grasping? Or is it not established, because without relying on others, merely by awareness itself, there is no difference in becoming self-cognizant in that way. That "is" refers to the wall. That "shape" refers to the fact that there is no awareness of the shape of grasping. Other than the eye and so on, the grasper is not at all specified here. If you think that the eye and so on are the graspers, then it is said, "All those," that is, the eye and so on. If you think that happiness and so on are the graspers themselves, then it is said, "For that." Other than form and so on. It is said, "It is the change of the other shore itself," that is, different. Why? Because when wanting and not wanting are different, lovable and unlovable appear in the order in which they appear. The meaning of "unlovable and so on." That "by that" refers to the grasper. For this, also because it is not common, it will become knowledge itself, this refutation is abandoned, and saying something else is "if." The world is awareness, not knowledge understood through meaning. How is it? Different in nature from form and so on. Why? Because whatever the shape of that intelligence is, it is not recognized as the nature of clarity. If the nature of intelligence is not embodied, then what is its nature like? It is said, "Its nature is." If you think that because the nature of the grasper is not recognized in a rabbit's horn and so on, it is not grasping, then it is said, intelligence is also merely unrecognized. Therefore, that is also not a grasper, just like a rabbit's horn. But if you recognize the thought, "I have intelligence," then it is said, "My intelligence." There is no awareness other than form and so on, but it is thought that the nature of form and so on itself is awareness. That "one" refers to the fact that the grasper and the grasped are the same, because there is no recognition. Changing to another is
