If it is the opposite of being inverted, then it is knowing by means of approximation. If a thing is knowing by its own nature, then in that case, if the aspects of wanting and not wanting to know do not appear, then it is only dependent on wanting and not wanting to become knowing, that is its meaning. The so-called "thatness" refers to its own nature. If one acknowledges reliance on one's own knowing, then why not acknowledge that external objects themselves are without reliance? If there is no external object, then what is known? If asked this, if the answer is that it is knowing by relying on its own nature, then it is not an answer. In that case, the other party should also acknowledge the knowing of the non-existent external object, just as they acknowledge the non-existent self-knowing. That is the only thing that can be said. The so-called "thatness" refers to self-knowing itself. The statement of "non-knowing" refers to knowing. However, if one thing is not known by many, then how could it become many forms? In order to understand this, it is said. Those who look outward, such as the intelligent and the Sutra School, think so. The so-called "nature is not many" means that it does not exist in happiness and suffering, etc. Even if it is acknowledged that things are different, it will not happen that one person experiences two things at the same time. Then, how can two people experience the same thing? If it is said "if there are other forms," the so-called "in thatness" means that if in the appearance of one person, the form of happiness is also mixed with the form of suffering, etc., then in that case, one person will also experience two things. In some cases, one person's form of happiness does not appear to another person, in which case, even if it is acknowledged that things are different, how can two people experience the same thing? The two forms that appear to oneself and others, one person will not fail to experience, but will definitely experience. It will also not change, because it is only knowing one form. How can one not experience each ultimate end? Therefore, it is said "all." Seeing one form is the desire to see two moons, for example, just as only one moon is deceived by cataracts and is perceived as the form of two moons, for those with the form of two things...

It is understood as one through the power of seeing. Therefore, the desire of dizziness is seeing, and the desire to see two moons is seeing as one. The so-called "by the power of meaning" is not understood by relying on meaning, like the two moons. If such is admitted, and if it is not admitted, then it shows the meaning of "by the two unseen." The meaning of abiding in the object being led, if it is known to change into many forms, how can it be said to obscure? The so-called "that nature" is the power of habituation itself. The so-called "teacher" is Dignāga. The so-called "that" is the appearance of the aspect of meaning. The so-called "pleasure, etc.," up to "feeling as pleasure, etc.," this shows that the ultimate of this is the teacher's treatise. The so-called "in accordance with that" is in accordance with the aspect of grasping. If it is not an appearance, but still it is thought to be only direct perception, the so-called "for what reason?" For the time being, inference knows the hidden, and if it is said that the knowledge of its meaning becomes the result, then it is said "the result of direct perception." The so-called "its" is of knowledge. The so-called "meaning abiding in the mind" is the aspect. The so-called "its" is of the aspect. To dispel the doubt that the other becomes a Buddha, the so-called "is it because it is similar to that?" The so-called "like that" is of the other. The knowledge of meaning shows a special habit, the so-called "habit is." The power of meaning is the aspect. The so-called "seeing in another place" is to dispel the doubt that the other becomes a Buddha and to answer, the so-called "if." At whatever time there is a thing in another place, it appears there, but not at a time separate from meaning, the so-called "thought by another." The refutation of this is the so-called "if." If there is a means of appearance, it must exist somewhere without a doubt, and if you think how to understand from appearance, the so-called "if there is no meaning." If so, then how does that which has never been seen appear? If it appears merely by existing, then all that exists should appear, so it must be that what is seen in another place and time appears.
