When engaging in refutation, if pervasiveness is also seen, then at that time it will become contradictory. The reason for saying "just because of that" is simply because it is not established on the subject. The so-called "sound and meaning" is like other proponents of the Mind-Only school, who, through the nature of Mind-Only as the subject, ascertain it as a property holder. Even so, in that way, it is not established for you Buddhists. The Buddhist opponent says that if the opponent's refuter distinguishes the property holder, etc., then it cannot be refuted. The absence of a specific object itself will become unestablished, because the example itself is unestablished. By "if," etc., the Buddhist's doubt is met, and the opponent's statement is "if." By "or in the mind," etc., the Buddhist's doubt is met, and the answer to that doubt is "one's own," because the Buddhist has promised to focus on one's own appearance. The so-called "without that" means that the absence of one's own appearance is contradictory. Without the apprehended, it is the absence of the appearance of the apprehended. That is not what you Buddhists desire. The so-called "in that" means that it has become so. The so-called "nature of the apprehended" means that the appearance of the apprehended will become an object. Therefore, the object of whichever appearance of knowledge will be refuted. There, refuting the Buddhist is "if." Even if arguing without an external object, if there is no clinging in the manner of an external object, then at that time, the mind that thinks of pillars, etc., as external objects will disappear, because it is not possible to take the non-common object that thinks of external objects as an object. It will also become a mind that thinks of external objects, therefore external objects exist. If it is thought that the external pot will not be known merely through the common basis itself, then it is "that." Again, meeting the doubt is "or." At that time, because of seeing the knowledge of the pillar, "that" will become contradictory to seeing. Two moons, etc., also see the same color. Therefore, just as seeing two such things, but thinking that it is not such a thing, it will also be thought that pillars, etc., are like that. Just like that, refute...

Refuting by dispelling the doubt that has been made is called "root." There, it refers to the cognition of two moons. Furthermore, if one wonders how it is known that an object that has not encountered the root can be grasped by the wisdom of the root, this is the meaning of "this is." Transforming from one moon, there is no clear target from two moons. This is revealing the other party. Because there is a connection, it is established as holding existence, and because there is no connection, it is established as holding non-existence. But in all cases, object cognition is existence itself. For those who say that cognition has no non-specific target, because you have no roots, there is no holding, therefore it will become without a cause for a target. Therefore, because no target has been seen, the refutation itself is unreasonable. The refutation you speak of, for us, there is no refutation, that is its meaning. It is not so, this indicates not accepting circumstances and so on. "From the sound" indicates from the sound of no target. This meaning indicates that one's own state is the meaning of the characteristic of the target. An example of conformity is "if" and so on. Among them, "also" indicates that for the cognition of hair illusions by those with cataracts, the hair illusions and so on that appear will themselves become the target. If, for the cognition of hair illusions, is it not the appearance of non-mundane things? If one thinks so, then it is with a target, then it is said "for all," for the cognition of pillars and so on as well. "For some" indicates that for the cognition of those with cataracts as well. "If" indicates welcoming doubt. If the cognition of one moon, how will it become without a target? The answer to this is "that also." If, in order to harm, it is said that the cognition of two moons is without a target, then the answer is "for that also," for the cognition of one moon as well. Coarse is because it is not suitable for clear appearance. However, this indicates welcoming doubt. If that is so, then being scorched by light itself is its target, this is what is thought. The answer to this is "blisters and so on." "In that" indicates for the true water. "Both" indicates having true and untrue objects. It is not so, indicates having a target.
