What will it become? Non-things do not exist as things. Therefore, cognition only involves non-things. If so, then the very absence of an object is established as being different from things. The question "Why" is a doubt. Because it needs to be understood in terms of action, it is knowledge. This is merely the absence of an object itself, which is what we desire. By what should it be established that it is the very absence of an object? By cognizing things like pots, there is no other cognition. To state this, it is said, "Action is," that is, it should be seen that there is not even a slight cognition. What should be stated as action is that this aspect is merely examined separately in meaning by way of explanation, and the refutation has been stated. Likewise, the agent and so forth are also the same. It is said that without action, it will be confusing to realize. The absence of that is the absence of external meaning. To prevent this, it is said, "That is not." For the agent and the aspects of action, eliminating faults is to realize one's own nature. What contradiction is there in this, that one realizes one's own nature through this? Because there is no rejection of external meaning. If it is said that "this" is blue and so forth. If blue and so forth are objects by their own nature, by the very nature of clarity, then the answer to this is "now." If blue and so forth are objects by their own nature, then at that time it is proof for the Buddhas. If blue and so forth are not understood as being objects by a pervasive and permanent self, is it not? The way of cognition is saying, "I cognize blue." To refute this, it is said, "That is." Knowledge with a form like 'I' is the awareness of the nature of the body and senses, but not an awareness different from oneself. If you ask, how is it known that the body and so forth are reasonable through knowledge with a form like 'I'? Through 'attachment to I' and so forth. The self that motivates and is different from oneself is awareness, that is, there is no cognition. Why? Because these senses and so forth motivate the arising of their own nature from their own cause.

Other than that, there is no object. Therefore, how can I be established as separate? The term "those" refers to the senses, etc. If, from the emptiness of the mind that has the aspect of pleasure and the senses, another mind arises that has the aspect of blue, etc., then from which does the action and the agent arise? If it is said that from the side of action there is no perception, then to clarify this meaning, it is said, "form, etc." This refutation is, "that is not there from the beginning." It is not that one does not want no object, but one wants the perception of form, etc., to be with an object. How is it? Because blue, etc., are contrary to the nature of non-discrimination, they are focused on their own part. If you ask, "In what way is the nature of no object established?" it is said, "different." Because the object is different, it is the nature of no object, but by its own nature, which is the nature of distinction, it has already been shown to be with an object. The word "without" means that the words that do not show what is to be established, that is, the words that do not express what is to be established and what establishes, and the words of knowledge, are the agent itself? If it is the action itself, then there will be something to be established, but if those words are of no object, then it will become without a proposition. If you ask, "Is it because of the object and because the words of knowledge also do not show the establishment?" then the established conclusion is stated here, which is, "that is also very good." The word "word is just extra" means that this is just a meaningless word, but it is not at all a refutation. The meaning is not the object of the word, but only the negation. Therefore, it does not contradict the proposition, because there is something to be shown by the word. That is the object to be established, that is, from which word there is an object to be established, that is called that, that is, the object of the word is to be established, but it is not the proposition. Again, that proposition is, that proposition is the object to be established, but it is not the object of the word. In that way, for the time being, the word is also acknowledged as distinction, so it is said.
