If so, then what difference is there between that habit and the meaning of the external object? There is only no difference. That is the habit. Meaning is having a body, and consciousness is the nature of consciousness, therefore it is not having a body. What is called "constantly closely harming" is living closely with the characteristics of having obstacles, etc. The image of consciousness is not constantly closely living, because only when it appears is it the cause of living. What is called "appearance" is the image of consciousness. Even if the external object has no difference, because of the difference of meditation, the reason why consciousness becomes clear, etc., the image of consciousness is the appearance, not the meaning. What is called "not" is to prevent this. What is called "even if not close" is because even if it does not live close in that place and time, it is admitted that it can be seen. Indicating this is what is called "like this." Stating memory is the decline of memory, which is said to those who emit light. Not perceiving is said to those who do not accept young women. Not appearing is said to those who have reason, etc. Everything wants to be everything. What is called "like this" is said by the Samkhyas. What is called "fault is the same" is the characteristic of everything appearing. Recognizing before is when you have not seen it before, so when memory declines, when you see two moons, why have you not seen many other things? If you say that relying on habits, you only take a part, not all, then tell him that the power of habits is the same for those who speak of consciousness. Therefore, consciousness is what was said before. It also shows similarly to the aspect of inverted appearance, which is called "inverted." In this way, for the time being, for the aspect of habits admitted by Dharmakirti and others, the faults stated by the other party are eliminated, and then one's own view is stated, which is called "immediately." Because all appearances that have become the nature of previous consciousness clearly appear in their own nature, the clear and fluctuating nature is the habit. Other things that arise later, such as that self, are experienced by the nature of clear appearance, and are the producer.

If there is no habit, then where does it come from? Habit refers to the production of subsequent consciousness with that form, which is precisely its meaning. If so, will all self-consciousnesses arise simultaneously? The answer is, because the 'awakener' is mentioned. That is, wherever the consciousness that appears as desirable and undesirable exists, it is called the 'awakener'. From that (awakener), that is, from the previous consciousness. The example here is 'awakening'. 'At other times' means that from the beginning what the other party says is from the Dharma. That is what was seen before. Because of the immediately preceding cause, that is, not producing things that did not exist before, such as dreams, then how is it an example? To this, what is said is 'it is not an expression'. The arising of other conceptualizations of that (habit) is the meaning. It is not the appearance of consciousness or the past object. Because the past itself cannot appear as the present. Through that (habit) itself, that is, through experience. What is meant by 'aiming only at this' refers to the consciousness seen in dreams and seen when awake. If merely saying that habit exists has प्रमाण(pramāṇa,measure, प्रमाण), but there is no प्रमाण(pramāṇa,measure, प्रमाण) for being a difference of previous consciousness, because there is no direct perception of the past. Therefore, it is said 'beginningless'. To clarify this, it is said 'how'. 'External objects' refers to pots and so on. 'External objects' refers to its cause, that is, the cause of habit. Explaining the cause itself, that is, the difference of 'cause', that is, that is habit. 'The difference of consciousness', that is, it is said 'its', that is, the difference of that consciousness also comes from the difference of habit. Its, that is, of the object. What is meant by 'that' refers to the difference of the object without a cause. If it is thought that the cause of the object's movement is the difference of consciousness, the answer is 'from the difference of consciousness'. What is meant by 'unrelated' is because acting on one's own nature is contradictory. If the difference of the object is only its own cause, then, if this fault would occur here, that is not desired, however, the difference of the object is other, the answer is 'however'. For distinguishing invisible habits, there is
