In location, it must become different due to the distinction of cognition. It is not reasonable for other consciousnesses to become different through valid means. Because being related to it is the nature of consciousness, therefore, in the place of "that itself," if it is different, then the meaning is also different. What is to be said about this is, how could there be other things apart from consciousness? What clarifies this is "with that," meaning that things that have become one with consciousness, how could they be different from consciousness? This means there is no valid means for it. If it is said that from following and reversing, consciousness and things can be recognized separately, what is to be said about this is, it is not so. If it is said that following and reversing can be recognized through inference, the negation of this is "not so." Because inference itself is preceded by direct perception, and direct perception has not been involved in it, then how can it become inference? Therefore, if there is no direct perception, inference does not exist, so it will only become like blind men touching an elephant, and things cannot be established. If it is said that it is necessary. How can there be consciousness to be pervaded without the function of pervading? What is to be said about this is, this is not understanding. The so-called "that time" refers to the time when meaning is accomplished. If there was no recognition at that time, then how could one have recognized the function of pervading before? Because the object and time nature pervade. It will become the function of pervading itself. If there was no recognition at that time, then how would you become the function of pervading itself at that time? Now, if the recognition of "there is meaning" arises, then when it arose before, how would one recognize the function of pervading from it? Therefore, before it was only recognition, not recognition of meaning. Even so, how can it be pervaded by its meaning? To this, others said "if." Just as smoke does not arise without fire, it is also not desired that the cognition with the aspect of fire is without fire. Because it is the fruit of fire. Therefore, how is that merely cognition? If it is the aspect of consciousness, then smoke will also not be established as the fruit of fire, because it will produce consciousness. This is the thought of others. The so-called "saying" is said by the Brahmin. The so-called "like this" is recognition.

It shows that the mere reversal of consciousness-only is demonstrated by the power of . If things are included in the experience, then, what is the object of cognition? For cognition, the object also exists. Because in all cases, it has been proven that "looking outward". Therefore, things are not included in the experience, but only exist externally. The statement about this is that if it is not an experience, then, the so-called "being in the middle" means that there is no uncomprehended thing between the previous view and the later view. The statement about this is "the previous" and so on. However, the word "however" introduces a question, and says "the commonality itself", meaning that in all cases, cognition is the object of the knowable commonality. Therefore, the commonality itself will become singular, but it is not clear. If someone thinks that only the commonality is singular, then say "commonality also". If the middle self-nature is also the object of cognition, and not just the previous and subsequent self-natures, then say "cognition itself". However, if it is thought that only seeing can grasp cognition, then say "if seeing". If the previous self-nature has disappeared, then how can it be recognized? The statement about this is "state". If "decay" means that past things decay from consciousness itself because they have not appeared, then past things will also decay from things themselves in the present time. The so-called "that" refers to things that exist in the middle. The so-called "no function" means how can past things that have no function in the present time be things themselves? Things become things because they have a function. And the function is present, not past. If there is also a function now, then say "no experience". Therefore, the thing that exists in the middle time, or the present thing that appears together with the past thing, is not the same. If it can become the same through inference, then say "of inference". In order to eliminate the doubt that the other party is the Buddha, it is said "habit". For habits that have infinite differences such as blue and yellow, it is called that way, that is, any knowledge that has that style is its birth.
