This shows that it is not logically reasonable. Now, forgetting to say that it has no result whatsoever is called "asserting self." If someone thinks that even without self, it is almost unnecessary, then "desire" is mentioned. In order to clearly show one's own essence, the so-called "oneself is like that" refers to the nature that changes one's own essence. If someone says, if these words are said, how can it be achieved without experiencing colors other than blue? Then "merely" is mentioned. This is separate from form. If someone thinks that even if this is different, it must be different, then "any" is said. If there is no difference, then how can "the experience of blue" become a different term? "Return" is mentioned, which is the term for return. Therefore, the so-called "therefore" refers to from the term of return. The so-called "not like that" means that it will not become return itself. The so-called "before" is like "the body of tears." The way to enter the Pramāṇavārttika is "how." If someone asks, are the things illuminated by lamps, etc., not themselves bright? Then "for oneself" is said. The so-called "for reversal also" refers to for self-illumination also. If even that does not have other illuminators, then how will the lamp become bright? Then it is "if." Because it sees that it is not debate and examination, it is doubt. By "the vase also," etc., it is shown that the so-called "illuminated by others" does not exist. From that is the lamp. An example of self-illumination. By negating the lamp itself, the other party says, "Why." The illuminating nature that arises from lamps, etc., the illuminator of that is the eyes, etc. Even the non-illuminating external is because the illuminating nature arises from the eyes and lamps, etc., so just as it is said that the lamp illuminates, it should also be thought that the illuminating nature of knowledge also arises from the eyes. But in reality, there is nothing that is illuminated by others at all, this is his thought. The so-called "how it exists" means that it has not gone beyond existence, it is like that. The so-called "if for some" means that for the lamp, there is one illuminator.

Yes. Regarding the term "other," the pot is two, and for other things, what is to be known is also knowledge. That refers to self-manifestation. However, if it contradicts self-nature, then at that time, this will make everything seem frightening. If there is no contradiction, then will the edge of a sword also cut itself? Answer: It has been said, "severed." "This itself is" means that it is not produced by itself, but is such a self-nature. At that time, it will be reasonable, which means refuting self-manifestation. Otherwise, it is not, which means arising from one's own cause as a self-illuminating self-nature. If that meaning is immediately manifest, it will not become the statement, "it illuminates other meanings." If the meaning is manifest, then that meaning is also just like knowledge. It is known by others. That time refers to the time when both are manifest. "What is to be manifested" refers to the meaning of what is desired to be manifested. "What manifests" refers to what is desired to be the manifester, that is, knowledge, in the manifestation itself, there is no difference whatsoever. From that action, it means from the action of knowledge. From that, there is a difference in the gradual understanding of meaning, the understanding itself. The other party says, this itself is made manifest, like this. That refers to the pot. Therefore, the pot and the lamp, if both are what is to be manifested and what manifests, then the statement about this is that if it is not born as the nature of manifestation, it should arise in that way. Therefore, what is there for it to be what is to be manifested and what manifests? The difference is what is done by the lamp. However, the explanation of the term "self" is "expression." The statement about this is "experience." Like that means like knowledge. In all ways means to be aware at all times. Therefore, what is to be known is that what is hidden is also reasonable, and is also reasonable. If, like knowledge, the external world is also awareness at all times, then at that time there will be no difference between knowledge and what is to be known. Therefore, external objects that are not to be known should also be abandoned.
