The continuum of consciousness that is absent is permanent, so it should not be cut off. Because one should increase other qualities on it, why would one think that it is cut off? Because it would become speculation and disobedience. This is what is said. Here, the Brahmins, because there is not a single happiness in the state of liberation, do not need liberation, this is to show "free from desire and with women" and so on. The statement about this is "that is like this." "All these" refers to drinking alcohol and so on. "For those without liberation" refers to the Brahmins. The happiness associated with the mother's and other sexual organs is also not present in non-Mongolian languages. Therefore, that also becomes what the Brahmins seek. What is called "that itself" means that we also want particularly superior happiness, then embracing women and so on is not particularly superior to peaceful happiness. Therefore, even without that, there is no harm. In order to show that the omniscient is possible, the method of showing is "the method is." What is said about "how is that knowledge" is "all wisdom." We do not know that, it is self-realization, in order to obtain such a thing that is followed by the practice of showing that nature and so on. In order to refute the third dispute, what is said is "if it is omniscient." Also, when knowing the continuum of detachment, he must also know detachment itself. If that is the case, on that which knows detachment, the one who has desire, who is possessed by the continuum of desire, must also be known. If that is the case, both are on that yogi. It is very difficult to reconcile. Because desire and non-desire cannot exist at the same time. What is called "both also" means, are both eons of desire and detachment present at that time? The negation of this is "not one." If the other detached one does not suppress the continuum of omniscience, then all

Then, how is it considered to be with desire? If it is thought how others can know desire, etc.? It is called abandonment. How is it called having desire? That is of the yogi. How to establish knowing desire, etc., by others? If one knows desire that transforms into one's own nature, then it becomes one's own desire, and that is not one's own either. Therefore, knowing desire that has transformed into one's own nature is not correct. Then, how does it become the desire of others? It is said "that itself," which is what one is knowing oneself. Like this, etc., it briefly shows both refutations, called "that itself" is one's own nature. If it is thought why the body does not become a complete transformation? Because the habitual tendencies of desire, etc., reside in the continuum of others, therefore the body and speech do not become transformations. In whichever continuum the habitual tendencies of desire, etc., are light, on that very one, the body and speech will become transformations. Called "both also" are the transformations of body and speech. Whatever is the habitual action, that itself is the habitual tendency. Called "in that" is when it abides like that, if there is habitual action, then how can the yogi be without habitual tendencies? Or, even if there is meditation, it is only without habitual tendencies, because these two are different, to dispel such doubts, it is said "habituation and." If one thoroughly realizes the differences of Babullampa, etc., that make one understand desire, etc., then the differences of the minds of others, such as desire, etc., will become apparent. It is thought that whoever becomes the fault here, for him, desire, etc., themselves will not appear. Called "in that" is understanding desire, etc., is that any difference in signs is close to harm, in the reason for close display, the action of meditation will intervene, but called "in that" is when the difference of signs is established, the action of meditation on the meaning to be understood does not exist. Or, even if there exists meditation on the meaning to be understood, oneself is also related.

Because that is not the cause of entering into meditation. "That" refers to desire and so on. Here, if a yogi perceives impure things, etc., through the senses arising from the actions of yoga, they will change together with the impure things, etc., while the perception of other senses, arising from the power of habit, will change together with the impure things, etc., that is what is called a dream. What is said to show non-deception is "when." "At that time" refers to the time when such a dream is dreamed. The second "that" should be used in conjunction with the word "when." To you also, and to the Brahmin also. Because the treatises are limited, only one instant can reveal its meaning, but what the yogi is to recognize is without beginning or end, so how can it be recognized in one instant? The answer to this is "limited." The so-called treatise has limitations, and that alone does not reveal all its meanings, but rather it comes from habit. Habit means that it is also possible to recognize all things, that is his thought. To this, others say "of the treatise." The meaning is that the appearance that was previously experienced will also appear in memory later. What was not there before will not appear. Because "memory arises from experience" is the rule. Therefore, it is impossible to recognize through the future, etc. This is to be negated, i.e., "not." "Furthermore" refers to appearance as well. If there is also a connection between things, then when something appears, something that was not there before will also appear. To dispel this doubt, the other party himself says: "Without beginning or end." The answer to this is "all the same." Establishing this tenet is "in this way." "Things" refers to the things to be expressed by the treatise. "Nomenclature" refers to the things that have been named, that is, the collection of all things that exist in the three realms. Among them, what is the relationship between cause and effect?
