Just as consciousness focuses on a single object, reflecting the images of the person and happiness, etc., it is expressed with words that encompass these. In this way, after recounting the debate, stating the established tenet is called direct perception. If someone asks, "What is consciousness?" the answer is that it is the Pradhana of the Samkhyas. If someone asks, "What is awareness?" the answer is that it is experience. To this, the proponent of the established tenet says, it is called distinct. The term "like that" means distinct. To eliminate the opponent's view that it is a category, it is said to be an object. To this, the proponent of the established tenet says, it is called without characteristics. Awareness is the person. The reason for acknowledging the person is valid cognition, because without valid cognition, there is no reason for acknowledgment. If someone asks, "Even without direct perception, can inference become the means of establishing awareness?" The answer is: it is direct perception. Because inference is preceded by direct perception. The term "therefore" means because there is no valid cognition. The term "other experience" means different from happiness and suffering, etc. Buddhists, how can you assert that there is no definite liberation from happiness and suffering? If experience exists, then liberation from happiness and suffering is reasonable. If awareness does not exist, how can there be liberation? Because happiness and suffering exist. This is its meaning. Or, do Buddhists want to completely abandon happiness and suffering? The answer is: it is nature. If the nature of consciousness is abandoned, if happiness and suffering are abandoned, then the so-called non-dharma is the destruction of the continuum of consciousness, because there is no other nature. If one admits to completely abandoning nature, then stating faults is incorrect. The statement "nature also cannot be abandoned" is called one's own. The statement that one's own tenet is reasonable is called happiness, etc. The present state is the state of not being liberated. Even so, it is still possible to abandon, because liberation comes from knowing the difference between nature and the person. The term "distinct" means more certain to be distinct than experience.

So-called making it the object of action, the statement of the tenet regarding this is: if. If happiness and so on and experience are not different, then, the desired liberation will not be accomplished, if you say so, it is said to be my wish. Meaning refers to the fact that self-nature and the person are different. However, the cause is what accomplishes our wishes, therefore, if it is not different, then, the causes will not produce different things themselves, therefore abide in permanence. So-called for this meaning, it refers to merely the experience of being free from happiness and suffering and so on. Other ways of showing validity are now. Part refers to the part of happiness and suffering, because seeing its existence, therefore only awareness abides, thus deriving from elsewhere. The statement regarding this is now between. Thus, at the moment of liberation, other awareness will also arise, but not different, so it is thought. Between refers to between awareness and sound and so on. Other refers to the nature of wisdom. If the meaning is not different, how can it become different, what is the answer to this question? The statement regarding this is if it is not so. However, although there is no one and many, but if all the establishments of things are destroyed, what to do? It is said to be from one and many. This refers to the fact that if there is no difference, and it cannot be established by just one experience, then, the establishment of difference is also not established. If one is not established, it means that if non-duality is not established, then, both also refer to difference and non-difference. For those who have great functions, all those who make distinctions, are those who grasp the differences in states, and those who have conceptual thoughts. If it is not unwanted, it means that it is only wanting difference, that is the meaning. Therefore, if there is no difference, awareness is one, therefore, when establishing that there is no difference, awareness is one, the different minds, those who become the retinue of the mind, are uncertain. Wisdom and Experience are sometimes seen to be different in this way. Even if you don't recognize the difference, will it become different? Wisdom
