If you think so, it is said that even for that mind, for multiple minds, the nature of being diverse will not change. Since the subtle parts of the mind do not understand the rules of each other, it would follow that there is no appearance of diversity. So, how is this appearance of diversity? If it is said, "If the meanings," that is what is said. The "this" here is like appearing even though it is separate from one and many. For the time being, the appearance of diversity is only experience. It cannot be said that this is not an appearance of diversity, if this does not conform to one and many, then one and many do not exist, but we have no fault. It cannot be said that the appearance of diversity is not separate from one and many, if it is not so, others will establish that there is no one and many. Therefore, introducing the refutation with parts is that even if it is admitted that the nature of the mind appearing diverse is separate from one and many, there is no fault, this is the general meaning of the treatise. The "also" in it refers to the mind also. If it is thought that even if it shows diverse forms, the mind different from it will become one, then "the nature of things is" means that the mind different from the form will be harmed by the object. The so-called "thing also" means what fault is there in the nature of the mind, which means there is no fault at all. Here, this is the occasion to prevent having parts, when eliminating having parts, if it is also admitted that the mind is multiple, then what fault is there at that time? Do not forcibly assert the singleness of the mind to destroy having parts, because this is not the meaning of arguing from the scriptures. Another refutation to be said is that the cognition of multiple atoms will become non-existent. Those atoms of the mind cannot tolerate being cognized as multiple, because they do not understand the rules of each other. If someone thinks that it is some other cognition that cognizes multiple, that is the so-called "another cognizer." This itself is establishing a tenet, which is the so-called "self-awareness." The so-called "because it is seeing" refers to the appearance of diversity. There is another saying about this, oh.

That is called "Na". This "also" means that without self-awareness, awareness is impossible. Furthermore, if there is self-awareness, then awareness does not necessarily need other-awareness. Therefore, if what is to be known by other-awareness is atoms, then the atoms themselves cannot understand each other's conditions. Since there is no other perceiver, then, what others say, "Who will perceive the many?" refers to "Oh, then". "None at all" refers to the conclusion. The difference therein refers to the difference from atoms. This shows that in the aspect of many, it is unreasonable to appear as many. The summary of both is "therefore". That there is no diversity in the many is very clear, and very obvious. For what reason is the thing one? Because of the argument that it is not reasonable for things to be both one and many, therefore, the Blessed One said, "Consciousness is" and so on. "If" refers to introducing a doubt. "Illusion" refers to the conclusion. For example, illusions and other things, although they do not exist, appear, similarly, pots or blankets and other things are also like that. Others say, "Those are also", referring to illusions and other things. The answer is "function". If it is said that existence is merely appearance, then what is the use of function? Appearance is inconceivable. The "also" therein refers to, function also exists in other things. "That itself" refers to the nature of appearance itself, which is function. The answer to this is "all appearances". "Some are through negation" refers to, through negating difference, that is, non-difference itself is function. Among them, the function of pots and blankets, such as holding water, is completely differential. But the function of happiness and other things is completely non-differential, because their existence is determined only through experience. Explaining this is "merely through appearance". "What is function itself" refers to the side of non-difference. For the side of difference, function itself is established. The nature of function
