"Form" refers to the conceptualization that has the aspect of "it is form." "That" refers to the mind of form. "If it is said that there is no experience," it refers to the mind of form. Even if consciousness has no experience, but if according to your view, the name of the entity is possible through understanding the meaning, etc., then how could the name be impossible for the nature of clear experience without conceptualization? This is the connection. Therefore, this is said while admitting that the mind has no experience. In order to prove that "the mind of form also has experience," the "that" that is said refers to this. "At that time" refers to the time of seeing form. "My seeing form" refers to the direct perception that has this aspect and has conceptualization. "Is it seeing form itself" refers to the nature of seeing form. "The nature to be examined" refers to the nature to be examined in the aspect of "I see form," which is conceptualization. "At that time, there are two conceptualizations," namely the conceptualization of form and the conceptualization of one's own entity. "If first is the conceptualization of form, and then the conceptualization of oneself, for one," thus it is said. If it is said that "only conceptualizations arise simultaneously," then it is said "also sees." "That" refers to the mind of form. "Form, etc., are the nature of experience, and also the nature of experiencing one's own entity." "At that time, sequence is also non-sequence," because it is the observation of the mind, so both will change simultaneously. If there is doubt, it will become non-sequence. Others who do not understand the thought say, "That also is," that is, without sequence. The statement for this is "without exhaustion." "If one mind," etc., should also be repeated. "By what does it become non-sequence" is said, if asked "How can the sequence not be long for one," then it is "for form." "Or if one is attached to one, then to another will not be attached," even so, one mind sometimes attaches to that, sometimes it is another, if it is said to be attached to

It is called "non-attachment." The word "also" in it refers to making it attached. For the second different situation, placing the Pramāṇavārttika itself is "therefore." When experiencing simultaneous consciousness, experiencing the consciousness of form, and when there is such an appearance as "this is the experience of the consciousness of form," then one would fall into the fault of grasping one as two. If one thinks that it will become two kinds of distinctions, then after establishing the harm of experience, stating other refutations is "therefore, for that also," which refers to such appearances as "this is the consciousness of form," etc. For others, "in" refers to being in the distinctions that have "this is the consciousness of form," etc. Stating the other subsequent, it is "perception or." "At that time also" refers to the time when the later mind has not arisen. "Consciousness is" refers to color consciousness. This is the view of the Samkhya school, because they assert that consciousness is permanent. The statement for this is "then." It means that even if the later mind does not grasp the nature of the consciousness that grasps form, nevertheless, only consciousness will become consistent. If it is said that even if it is not grasped by experiencing form, even so, the mind of form will be grasped, then it is said "other mind also," meaning that since the nature of grasping form is not grasped, and the mind that can be grasped, from the grasper of form, there is another mind, which is impossible. If it is said that the nature of the mind is the nature of having awareness and attention, therefore it exists even after not grasping, then it should be observed. The answer is "then, in." "That time" refers to the time of later non-grasping. "Where is it nearly needed" means that even if the nature of distinction is grasped, it is because the grasping of form is not grasped. "There is no near need." Even if the nature of grasping form is not grasped, what is the fault? If one thinks like this, then it is said "therefore." Saying "this is" to indicate the present is unreasonable, because it is for the thing that is being grasped that it is so established. The grasper of form directly grasps that which is only the nature of the past, therefore it is born.
