Such combination is unprecedented, and at the end of vanishing, the combination of six, etc., or the special and the things with special characteristics change just like that, only unchanging. It is also not change. Therefore, similarly to this, for things, it also depends on the unprecedented, etc., and becomes the combination of six, etc., or becomes the special and the things with special characteristics. Change is change for everything, and if it does not change, then it is not for anything, because there is no difference. This is doubt. The explanation is: if you think like this, that's what it says. What is the idea? It is if you say so. If it does not exist, then at that time add 'of things'. Why does it become non-existent? Things and that's what it says. Why? Because it said things and. By saying 'etc.', it grasps the thing with special characteristics. Things and non-existent things are not suitable for association, if you think where this comes from, it is said to be due to unsuitability. Unsuitability is also clearly explained in the explanation of the Commentary on Valid Cognition, but still does not approve. What did you say? It is special. Because things have no connection with non-existent things, the previous non-existence and the non-existence after vanishing of things are impermanent, so it is not suitable to become the causal combination of six, etc., this idea is not suitable because there is a connection. If you think that the connection of arising etc. has been blocked, then it cannot be blocked, what do you use to block the association of aggregation etc. of special and things with special characteristics? And what do you use to block the combination of six etc.? If the special and the things with special characteristics do not become without the association of aggregation etc., then it says 'then', this explanation is clear. This is said on the basis of admitting the state of being in between the two. Now saying that itself does not exist, is to be associated with existence itself. The explanation is with two extremes, meaning that it is not born and destroyed. However, because it is constant, existence and its association will not become the special of all differences, however, in what sense do these two exist? That itself makes all the differences.

If asked: Will it become like that? Answer: If so, it is said as such. Its special feature is the special feature of the two extremes. The thought is this: if the cause of the sound's occurrence is a thing, then the cause of impermanence is not existence or things related to it, but impermanence itself. Therefore, how can one infer a thing from the sound of impermanence? If one does not consider existence itself to be impermanent, and the cause of the thing of the sound of impermanence is not expressing a different impermanence itself. At that time, because there is no difference, will it become the sixth case of the sound's impermanence itself? To dispel this doubt, it is said, "existence itself." Even if there is no difference, existence itself will exist, just as things are impermanent, why not say it is the sixth case? If so, impermanence itself is not different. Or, because the way of sound or the way of reason does not have the position that existence itself with the special feature of the two extremes is impermanence itself, it is said that non-existence before and non-existence after are different impermanence, therefore it will not become an opportunity for the fault of not having the sixth case, etc., what is said is "furthermore." "From that" refers to from the thing. Thus, from between non-existence before and non-existence after, the existence itself that exists is not suitable to be impermanence itself, and even if it is admitted there, those two themselves should be impermanent, this is what is to be shown. Now, because one does not admit any relationship between a thing and a non-thing, the existence located between the two non-existences is not impermanence itself, and it has been admitted, the previously passed non-existence before, etc., themselves are also not impermanence itself, however, if one thinks that the existence located between the two that become cause and effect is impermanence itself, then in order to dispel other doubts, it is said, "If how." The cause of a pot is a potter, etc., and the result is fragments, etc. It is indeed so, but wondering what that will become, it is said, "those causes and effects." Thinking how there is no unreasonableness? So it is said, "cause and effect," those with the characteristics of the previous edge and the later edge.
