It is also meaningless to measure on the ground. If according to your view, then aren't all auditory cognitions mistaken? Then, how can it be certain that it is similar in its appearance? If someone clings to external objects, thinking that two objects will be established, (then one should know that) in the nature of knowledge itself. This is what is said. Is this the king's command? If you think so, then "there" and so on are said. What makes it clear is "like this." Experiencing the special mental changes to be expressed, and abiding and acting in accordance with this, is reasonable. If it is not so, haven't you experienced it like others? If you don't believe in experience, then how will the words of denial change? Therefore, it is said, "unrelated support." The support of expression is not thought, and in any case, it is not the cause of this, that is its meaning. Therefore, there is no harm in thinking that the two measurables are established as self-cognition. If the objects themselves become different, then how is the valid cognition different in the first place? In order to dispel the doubt that the main thing to be proven is that, thinking that the difference of valid cognition can be established only by this, therefore it is said, "other realities." Other realities refer to those that are different from knowledge. Having the difference of knowledge, the nature that that itself possesses, that is the difference of valid cognition that becomes its nature, why can't it be established? Therefore, the difference of cognition and the difference of the measurable are mutually pervasive. When doubt arises about one, the other will name it. Even so, when doubt arises about two valid cognitions, two measurables are arranged. When doubt arises about that, there is no other refuge than the difference of cognition. The establishment of the difference of valid cognition is also the same. To this, others are confused and say, "cognition itself is." It is said, "Aren't the proponents of established extremes enduring?" Like this, is valid cognition different from cognition? Or is it that only cognition is valid cognition, but it only has a special characteristic, is that what you think? For this, the first view is not established, the second

It is established because of the reason for establishment. Therefore, things arising from sound, etc., are not valid cognitions. This is also established from what was previously said, that a valid cognition is unfailing, and is called knowledge itself. Because the word 'knowledge' is not knowledge, and the word 'unfailing' only explains understanding. Or, understanding itself is a different transformation. This refers to the fact that the form of valid cognition itself will become different, but the classification of valid cognition refers to the characteristics of direct perception and inference, how can it become a special valid cognition? Is it not another valid cognition? This refers to this meaning. How from the uncommon form, from the common form, the knowledge of the common form is different, similarly, in the common form there are also differences such as sound and approximate measurement. Therefore, just because the objects are different, it will also become another valid cognition. If all hidden things are one with the common form, then direct perception and hidden things will also not become two valid cognitions because the things themselves are one, if you say so, then the conclusion here is direct perception, etc. For hidden things, other than inference, because unfailingness is uncertain, it is abandoned as a valid cognition. Therefore, even if the nature of hearing, etc., is different understanding, but because it cannot be determined that the object to be measured exists, so how can it become a valid cognition? If it was not already abandoned by the characteristics before? What is to be established now? It is explained that direct perception and inference themselves are different, because they are of different kinds. This is also because it is established by self-awareness. It is only a name, and now it is being used as what is to be established. If this name is already established, is it not the two established by direct perception and inference, thinking that what is established by inference and direct perception, others will not think so? The treatise writers will also give examples in the confused state, this is fire. For this, other debaters, in the moment of the seeing consciousness, things characterized by kinds, etc., appear clearly, the consciousness itself with discrimination, the senses, etc.
