The meaning is that from what is shown by direct perception and inference, it was previously doubt and reversal. If so, then taking the example of knowing the light of a jewel as a jewel being a valid cognition, it means "the light of a jewel." That is inference, because there is a reversed distinction, so asking what its valid cognition is, and saying one's own tenet is the meaning of "that is." Because of the doubt that it is mistaken, it is not direct perception, so the question is the meaning of "how." If it is not direct perception, then how is it mistaken? That is, how is it direct perception? The answer is that knowing the light of a jewel as a jewel, it is just like that, and it is still a valid cognition of direct perception. If what becomes direct perception is an untrue mistake, then how is it a valid cognition? Doubt. It is said "not deceiving," because not being deluded itself is not established. Therefore, it is said delusion and non-delusion. Because the characteristics are the same, for the time being, the knowledge of a jewel is a valid cognition, it means "is a valid cognition." Doubting that non-delusion other than non-deception itself is the reason for it, is the meaning of "if." The non-delusion of the reality of things as they are is non-deception, not other things, it means "object and." The term non-delusion is the reason for non-deception, non-deception is the reason for non-delusion, because without it, non-delusion itself is the reason for non-delusion. Doubting that another reason for non-delusion is "because there is no harm." "It is not" is refuting doubt. Why? It is said "for non-deception itself." "Saying that" is because it is said that there is no harm itself. "What is that?" It is said "not non-deception." "For no harm, yes" is the first. "That" is not non-deception. "Then" is the answer. "If it is not that non-delusion itself is not non-deception, because inference is mistaken, but there is non-deception," after accepting the doubt, it is said:

It is called "Infallible Inference." The term "if" refers to the debate of one's own side. The phrase "there is no other difference than from being mistaken or not mistaken" is a concluding statement. The meaning of not being mistaken is the meaning of not being deceptive, so there is no difference from that (not being mistaken). However, the answer that it is due to discrimination and the other itself means that it is because appearances are different. If there is no difference in being mistaken itself, how can appearances be different? The answer is: it comes from being mistaken itself. Just as manifest perception and inference differ in appearance and discrimination and the other itself, so too do manifest perception and inference. Thus, for those who want manifest perception to be infallible, if it is not deceptive itself, then there is no difference between the two. Now, looking at the nature of manifest perception itself, it is infallible, and even if it contradicts, it will not become mistaken. What is said is "all valid cognitions," etc. If inference, from the nature of other things, is mistaken itself, then manifest perception will also become like that. What is said is "is," etc. If asked what the difference is, the answer is "mistaken is." What is said to be the same is "how." Because whatever correct consciousness is prior. The so-called correct consciousness is the meaning of non-deception, and in the case of the meaning of non-deception, what is the use of saying non-mistaken? What is said is also the fault of a concise statement that has the nature of summarizing. If it were not so, then non-discrimination itself is also the appearance of consciousness of an object, and after becoming a state of non-discrimination, it should be spoken from there. Because non-deception is the meaning of non-mistaken, and there is no fault, it is said "because." The so-called "that which will arise" is to welcome the question. The so-called "this" is the answer. For the light of a jewel, for holding a jewel, for the manifest perception of holding another blue. The so-called "similar" refers to the inference that will arise to dispel doubt, which is established by valid cognition. The so-called "there" is a question, namely holding blue. After manifest perception.
