The example of "non-existence" is: Although inference is erroneous for those who know Suchness, it is a valid means of cognition in relation to not deceiving ordinary people. For example, mistaking the light of a jewel for a jewel is erroneous, but for ordinary people, it is not deceptive. The difference in the shape of the jewel that exists in the gap of the door is called "that." The same applies to "lamplight," and all situations such as the gap of the door apply. "There is no difference" means that for both, there is no jewel in the place of the door gap. "Some exist" refers to the light of the jewel. "Therefore" means that there is a difference caused by obtaining. Even knowledge that does not conform to the true nature of things is seen as a guide if harm has not yet arisen, saying, "Even if the jewel is not seen" means: If it is erroneous, then how is one a valid means of cognition and the other not? The answer is, "Everything is erroneous." If you want to know how they are different, the answer is, "Of the aggregates." It must be undoubtedly believed that different causes lead to different results. If this is not the case, diverse things will become one, saying, "Because it is knowledge" means: However, only some. If this is not the case, just as both are not valid means of cognition because they are erroneous, because there is no difference in knowledge itself, everything will become erroneous, and thus direct perception will also become the same. Because of the difference of the aggregates, they are different. If you doubt how it can become non-deceptive even if it is erroneous, to dispel this doubt, the example is given: "Of the aggregates." Just as things themselves and so on have differences, even if there is no difference in error itself, some will become non-deceptive due to the difference in causes, while others will not, that is its meaning. Or, because of the difference of the aggregates, the difference is produced by the action of relation, and whatever has this action is related to it, therefore, even if it is erroneous, it is non-deceptive, that is its meaning. Saying that inference is different from error and has other differences refers to "the action of relation." A valid means of cognition arises, that is, direct perception arises.

is the reason. Therefore, it is the cause of obtaining what is desired manifestly. To illustrate, the arising of manifest perception that enters is like the inferential knowledge generated by the sign of that reason's nature. Just as inference with the meaning of manifest perception, inference itself is a valid means of cognition, that is the meaning. What is to be established is explained in detail as, inference is what is said. The arising of manifest perception occurs later. To explain with an example, manifest perception is also what is said. If there is no inference for the manifest blue, how can it be an example? If you think so, it is as follows. The manifest blue is unfamiliar. If certainty exists, it is the enterer, and certainty is also inferred by its nature. Therefore, manifest perception becomes a valid means of cognition, and inference is proven to be a valid means of cognition, that is the meaning. Making the cause of the validity of inference the manifest perception of non-deceptive nature, similarly called inference, saying it is not the enterer, is what is to be entered subsequently. Manifest perception occurs later. So, what is the difference between these two? The difference between manifest perception and inference is this: the inference of experience itself is not the enterer, even if it is not, for the manifest perception that enters, it is necessary to rely on the previous inference of that nature without a doubt, if it is not so, it will not become that way. Although it is not to establish past fire and so on, for the inference that establishes fire and so on, in general, it is necessary to rely on the subsequent manifest perception without a doubt, if it is not so, it will not be separated from doubt on the separately determined object. The difference that neither of the two depends on the other does not exist. To eliminate the doubt that the latter half, which refutes the aforementioned earlier and later objects, has a difference, is "from inference." This is explaining the second line, which is "if also." Manifest perception is not preceded by inference, but inference
