If it is thought that it is like having experienced it before, that is unreasonable. Because there is no example that is consistent with all self-natures. The reason for saying that the inverted conceptualization is related to the previous consciousness is just to illustrate this point. If it is said that the previous consciousness with the meaning of the object of attachment is the object of meaning, then the previous meaningless consciousness is also the object of the meaning of attachment. However, in the example, the previous is the experience of the object of things, and in meaning, it is only conceptualization, then what is the use of this difference? In either case, the previous consciousness is only close to leaving imprints. Therefore, in the example, experiencing conceptualization is the seed that produces conceptualization, and similarly, meaningless conceptualization, if it leaves the seed of producing similar things, what fault is there? The seed of dissimilar conceptualization should not be left. What arises from experiencing meaning also exists in part. There is no doubt that conceptualization alone produces the imprints of conceptualization alone, so it is said that it is also so in other lives. Thus, since the objects of the previous and subsequent consciousnesses are not the same, things with the nature of falling will not depend on things that do not fall from the place of dependence, and there is no direct contradiction, so it abides. Thus, since there is no oneness, therefore I and so on do not exist, in order to explain that its conceptualization is also without beginning or end, so it is said "similarly." The word "etc." includes general characteristics etc. Just as clinging to oneness has no object, so also clinging to I and body etc. is only the Dharma, and the mind with the nature of Dharma, cutting off the beginning means the continuum is without beginning. Not interrupted afterwards means cutting off the end by the production of other and other. Although in some cases there are dependent and independent things, but this is not the case in the current situation, in order to explain this, the question is to explain the Pramāṇavārttika itself that was asked before, that is, "in addition." Thus, qualities etc. have no basis, but the mind is better than it.

If it is said, "How can it be without a basis since it is knowable?" (The answer is:) It is said to be "mind." The body is mind, this is the general aspect; the quality of the body is called "wisdom," this is the aspect of quality; because it is the nature of knowing objects, is it karma? "Furthermore" is a distinction, it is mind, not non-mind, because "non-mind" is the cause of separate cognitions. Or it is uncertain, mind is just like that, there is no need to examine it further. Therefore, the opposite of this is impossible, so there is no fear of falling into one side. This is its meaning. Thinking that one can answer from the perspective of aggregation, and arguing with others, this is the meaning of "if." The meaning is that whatever aggregates in whatever place, if that thing is missing, it will not arise. For example, if there is no cause of aggregation, there will be no quality aggregated with it. Mind also aggregates in the body. "The way of refutation, etc." refers to etc. If it is thought that even if they are not the object of support and supported, they will aggregate, (the answer is:) it is said that even if they are the object of support and supported. If asked: Where does this come from? (The answer is:) It comes from "for the sake of others," because it speaks of non-establishment, etc. Because of what is said, aggregation is not possible without support and supported. This is the absence of aggregation itself. By excluding the object of support and supported, it is indicated that if the object of support and supported is excluded, aggregation, etc., will be excluded. Then, how about the reverse? (The answer is:) It is said, "Because there is no support." It means that it is considered unreasonable with the reasons already stated. This indicates that the reason that whatever aggregates in whatever place is not established. Before making the explanation of the Commentary on Valid Cognition, temporarily saying what has not been done is "caste, etc." "If" is the meaning of others. If it is thought that distinguishing what aggregates in what place is not uncertain because it is impermanent. (The answer is:) "Mind also" is the answer. Because it is related to that mind before other causes. For example, aggregation itself is constant, because not having a support is also not non-existent, similarly, it continues with other causes.
