It is called "not another thing." "From the power of beginningless habit" means to clarify the meaning of what is taken. "That is, establishing the doctrine" means as follows. "Relying only on the mind" refers to the mind. If it is so, then the conceptual thought without an object is the subject, and the reason is also without an object, therefore it is to be established, and it will become undifferentiated. If you think so, it is not so. For example, a horned ox, because it has horns, is not a horse. In this case, it will become an irrelevant answer. The combination for this is that whatever is without an object arises from the previous consciousness, just like mistaking a mirage for water. The conceptual thoughts of the dependent and the depended are also without an object. The answer to what has not been established has already been said, and remembering the meaning that has not been said is saying. "The other answer has not been said" means to understand from many things. "Because the fruit of the previous consciousness has not been seen." "This inverted consciousness that arises from the previous to the later, the recognition of this one arises from this" cannot be recognized. Therefore, seeing both the previous and the later things can transform into the thought of oneness. Abandoning what is seen and tolerating what is not seen is the meaning of tolerance. That is not, it is said. The meaning is that mistaking a mirage for water will also follow the mirage, because only the mirage is seen, and when water is seen, others have not seen it. If you think that only the recognition of the mirage is reasonable, how can it be considered water? If so, then it is reasonable to be attached to many things as many, how can it be considered one? These two are the same. Therefore, by whatever reason it is established, the reason for this fruit is no different from others. Just as thinking that water arises from seeing water, similarly, the conceptual thought of oneness also tends to be the one who sees one. Therefore, it is said that "non-different meaning is established," then the metaphor and the dharma are consistent, and the metaphor is observation.
