A Commentary on the Ornament of Valid Cognition, Extremely Pure, Called Jama Ri. A Commentary on the Ornament of Valid Cognition, Extremely Pure. Jama Ri. The Bhagavan is not Ishvara, etc. So, it is by the all-knowing one. "Speaking" means the "result." Because the Bhagavan speaks the truth, therefore it is the proof. Depending on the sign of speaking the truth, valid cognition, i.e., the term valid cognition, is only reasonable for the Bhagavan, because it is not its result. By the sign of the result of speaking everything without error, it can be inferred that the Bhagavan has the wisdom of that object, this is the meaning. Conversely, it is not the Vedas, this is the meaning. When Ishvara, etc., exist, then, because valid cognition hinders, it speaks of non-truth, so it is impossible to determine that it is all-knowing. Even in the aspect of no author, it must be undoubtedly admitted that sounds are related to meanings, but it has been shown that that also does not exist, i.e., "no Vedas at all." "This" refers to the Bhagavan. "For others" refers to what is not the object of valid cognition. "Will be explained" refers to this chapter itself. Thus, after establishing the Bhagavan as valid cognition in name, connecting from the perspective of the ultimate truth, i.e., "or." "He possesses it," the Bhagavan also realized non-duality, i.e., "manifesting the meaning not known." Through the statement "He possesses it," it reveals the truth of non-duality not realized by Vishnu and Ishvara, etc. The Bhagavan is also valid cognition, because direct perception, etc., are valid cognition in their respective objects, this is endless. This is a statement implied by meaning. Then, how is it said that the Bhagavan is all-knowing? The answer is: "Completely knowing all things." Thus, without relying on the distinction between permanent and impermanent, the universal Ishvara, etc., truly knows things, or establishes it in relation to the Vedas, this is the name of valid cognition.
