The consciousness that conforms to the place, without interruption or connection, and does not have power over the dwelling, similarly, how is it possible that the later and later ones are not interrupted or connected? Because it is a collection of similar kinds. Even if there are differences, they should be explained. Because afflictions and so on are explained in the common ground, therefore there is no difference between the two ends of before and after. What is stated from the compounded of dualistic conceptualization is "by another." "Because it has not become the nature of the object" refers to the mind of another. For yogis, the consciousness of others is solely the nature of the object. However, the refutation and entry of that is also very long. Therefore, the cessation of consciousness is not an object of oneself or others. Therefore, there is no thought that consciousness is cut off. However, if one thinks that even a dispassionate person, because they have not completely separated from afflictions, so the continuum of mind exists, there may be deterioration, therefore it will be cut off, then it is said by the dispassionate. Why? Because it is said, "for one's own benefit." Even if one is free from faults, not liking the benefit of others is not freedom, and even if one does not like the benefit of others, the absence of fault itself is not related, that is its meaning. Therefore, "Those who have great compassion, abide for the sake of others." In this way, even if the dispassionate themselves may have deterioration, the continuum is not cut off, that is the intention. This shows the aspect of the One Vehicle. The aspect of the Three Vehicles is also spoken of, which is "or." What is stated depending on the situation is, "there is no fault." In the state of dispassion, even if one establishes a moment that cannot produce a result, it may be permissible for the continuum to be cut off. Therefore, infinity itself is desired in consideration of the state of universal affliction, that is its meaning. Summarizing the situation is "therefore." Just like grains and so on, the close grasping of consciousness does not revert due to deterioration. If the body is also a close grasping, then isn't the body subject to deterioration such as fire? Therefore, "body" is said. The body is not a close grasping, because it does not have both natures.

Ro. Then, will the situation of harming the mind be reversed? Answer: It is also said "mind." The mind is receiving, but it is not harm, that is its meaning. Even so, it should be taken out from the heart and combined with the dependent in a reversed manner. For the time being, admitting the object of dependence, even if it is to eliminate one's own argument, it is not harm, because consciousness, like a painting, is not determined on each individual dependent, thus connecting them. How so? For what reason, in the first birth, the action that is used together with the body of another birth, it is connected with it, and in the state of waking up immediately after a dream, what is the action of the dream that arises from fear and sorrow, etc., it is connected with it and apprehended, it is said that the remaining dependents are not determined on each individual. Even so, if it is broken, why will it not be broken? Answer: It is said that it is determined on each individual dependent. After abandoning oneself, now showing that the dependent itself does not exist, the explanation of the Pramāṇavārttika is "another." Then, if it is thought that paintings, etc., will be broken, answer: It is said "paintings, etc." Therefore, it means that it is not different. Its cause itself is the cause of destruction itself. The cause of existence, even if it does something that can be placed, but for something that does not exist, how can there be no meaning of cause? For something that does not exist, the relationship of cause and effect is also unreasonable, because the relationship is the dharma of both. For something that does not exist, the cause does nothing. Even so, what does it mean to do nothing? And how will it not be a dependent? Answer: Indeed, for something that does not exist, neither exists. In the conventional, from something that has not been apprehended before, if some are close, then non-existence arises on the existing that is close. Just as it is established, for something that does not exist, there is a cause. It is said that non-existence depends on the cause. Similarly, dependence is not completely existing, because at that time it will become the object of cause and effect itself. It is also said that existence depends on certain things. Therefore, for something that does not exist, it should depend, that is what it means. Then, will it become existence? Answer: For existence, also
