Or together, the naturally arising self-nature mind, even without a body, exists. For example, gold that is not the fruit of fire and gold exists even without fire. In order to clarify the meaning that has already been said, this is why it is said. The two fruits that have the characteristics of body and mind are. If those two causes are not fruits, then the explanation is given to "if the body disappears," etc. "However" refers to others. "That" refers to special. If someone says, "What does not recede when a flood occurs?" then "that" refers to the constant, meaning that even if a flood occurs, the constant will not recede. Furthermore, "how" refers to the second argument that will arise. "Consciousness" is the constant. Therefore, the constant of consciousness is the cause of the constant of consciousness, so it will fall into the state of the body being grasped, which is the thought of others. To this, starting from "here," etc., first abandoning the first and eliminating the second, it means that first consciousness is established for everything by following the previous actions. Or, it is not seen by oneself or others, therefore it is not the meaning of grasping. If someone asks, even without harm, will the constant recede? The answer is, "Harm the grasper." It is explained that this is an example of incompatible dharmas using the constant of grain. If someone thinks that consciousness is the grasper without harm, then it is said, "The grasper of consciousness is." It is consciousness itself, not the body, because neither possesses the characteristics of grasping. If someone thinks that this may also be harmed, then it is said, "For it." With this alone, the first verse is explained. Using the second, etc., it is a supplement to this explanation. The words "etc." include fainting, etc. Where does the harm come from at that moment? If someone thinks that because the previous one has completely disappeared, then later an unprecedented consciousness will arise from the body, then it is said, "Dependent on previous actions."

It is finished. This is also accomplishing the meaning through verses. It is not annihilation, not that it does not exist in all aspects. Why? Because it is said, "consciousness, measure." If it is because of the object of focus, then even if consciousness is annihilated in a dream, it will still arise. Otherwise, how should it be understood? As it is said in the scriptures, "For those who are dead and asleep." Therefore, whatever is annihilated is related to waking up, like the measure of deep sleep. Death is also annihilation. Therefore, it is thought that "there is no afterlife." Doubting the examples of sleep, etc., is the meaning of "or." The meaning of "only" is not being born later. Therefore, it is thought that annihilation is not universal, because it will arise again. The answer is "that is not." Sometimes it will become only annihilation, where does this kind of thought come from? It will be said that some people think that the object of focus is that, and annihilation cannot be proven by oneself or others. Speaking temporarily from one's own perspective is "temporarily." "In short" means what others say, what reason is there to deny annihilation just because it is not apparent? If annihilation is always not apparent to oneself, even if that is the case, it cannot be completely done, so sometimes it will also become eternal annihilation. If that is the case, the uncertainty of not being annihilated itself is established, there is no need to say that the afterlife exists, wanting to think like this is difficult to overcome in order to overcome suffering. Refuting it is "that is also not." Even so, because the arising of what did not exist before is difficult to establish. Therefore, it means that even if only annihilation is admitted, existence will not be contradictory. The boundaries of the past and future are not objects of focus, this follows, it is not without previous actions, and similarly, previous actions are also like that. Therefore, just as the boundary of what happened before is not an object of focus, so is what comes later. For example, previous actions and oneself and after
