That is the fruit of the past cause. The present world is the good karma of this world. To refute after stating the first half is "that also." For example, a single person, in relation to some things, gives rise and also becomes a father, similarly, a single thing, if there is nothing else, will not arise, so it is the fruit. Because it does not confuse people, it is also the cause. Therefore, for what will happen, the present is the cause, so it should be understood as accepting. Another statement is "if it is the cause." The answer is, if it is for obtaining, then its fruit must also obtain the cause, that is what is thought. The explanation of the second half is "anything." "That is not" is refutation. For the fruit itself, inference is the best. If it is the cause, then there will be other actions. Therefore, this sentence is a conclusion. Because the teacher did not say this, this is the self-assertion of explaining. Because it does not depend on other meanings, it is considered to be self-nature. The argument also establishes the basis in other ways. That is also contradictory. How to say it? "The non-existent is previously powerless," and "because it arises later, it is not the cause," saying this is irrelevant. Like this, just not saying is not a fault. Because what is to be said and what is said are not seen as the same word anywhere. At that time, it will become another book. The person who explains definitely needs to explain in a little more detail. All the differences explained in the Commentary on Valid Cognition are not actually present in Dignāga or the scriptures. Therefore, one should avoid contradicting established tenets and views. For it, there is no contradiction with the tenets, because there is no inconsistency with the five manifest meanings. There is also no contradiction with the views. If in some places the cause that will arise is stated, there is no need for refutation. Any, "the non-existent is previously powerless," etc., the statement there is mainly to deny the simultaneous arising of cause and effect, how to say it, therefore the meaning itself

It is said whether the mind arises simultaneously or not. All causes are pre-existing. This indicates that they do not arise simultaneously. If they are different, then the pervader and the pervaded themselves are the entities of cause and effect. Furthermore, if it is the fruit of form, then how does it prevent being a simultaneous cause? It is thought in this way: the entities of cause and effect that rely on the true conventional, if they rely on worldly terms, then for simultaneous arising, just like the left and right horns, there is no such term in the world. Considering this, it is said more than once, "In worldly terms." The certainty of being simultaneous arises is established from inferring the nature of the cause. Therefore, simultaneous arising is not the existence of cause and effect entities in different ways. Therefore, other commentaries state that this is to prevent it. The Vaibhashikas say that the entities of simultaneous cause and effect are based on scripture, not worldly ones. Because it arises later, it is not the cause. The meaning is that whatever exists is not necessarily the cause.
