If there is doubt about what the next life will become, that is what is called "I." "I" is a near reference, because clinging to self, etc., is also a manifestation of clinging to self. Completely bound by clinging to self, from there arises "Now is my life." From this definite reason, the previous life can be inferred. This states that being bound by clinging to self is the main cause of clinging to other lives. "Mind" refers to the second debate, if it is said that body and mind are mutually following, then in order, the two authors of the Pramāṇavārttika will answer. "Becoming other" means becoming other forms. The expansion to combine this meaning is "what" etc. The mind of the final stage is also the nature of action and the nature of non-difference, so the collection of aspects of dharma should be understood. Uncertainty is "if it is not so." For that very reason, there is no fault of contradiction either. Avoiding the fault of non-establishment will be explained later. The answer to this is that, like explaining the latter half of the eye etc., this is an example of dissimilar dharma. Because possessing defilement is its characteristic, it is said that way. This is explained in the context of samsara, but not for the meaning of complete severance, because there is no conceptualization that relies on the senses. Even in the formless realm that is free from the senses, there is the mind consciousness, and the scriptures also explain the existence of the formless realm, because the scriptures of the three sides that are completely pure are considered to be acceptable. Alternatively, the existence of the formless realm is shown by inference. Whatever one becomes accustomed to, that will become clear, like the form of desire. Even the mind of equanimity that is free from the form of the body should be accustomed to because it desires to pacify the desire for the body. Therefore, they are also not manifestly combined with the mind of non-means, because there is no such behavior, so everything is held by wisdom itself.

It is also like that. It is not the non-method among methods. If it is not to permanently cut off the suffering of samsara, even so, it is of great significance just because it has not been commonly used for a long time. Even so, it is said that even if the mind is not satisfied. If one thinks, how do things of the same time become causes for each other? The answer is, the two are mutual. What is said to be mutually helpful is that the collection of things that are mutually causal arises from other collections of aggregates, that is, from the former. It is also the collection produced by the former. The meaning of this is that, compared to the present, which of the previous body and mind is mutually causal? It is because it arises from that collection. Similarly, when that previous one is abandoned, it is also because that previous one is abandoned, so it is originally without beginning. Which of the body and mind after the present is mutually causal? It is also because it arises from the collection. Similarly, there, because the later abandons the later, it is originally without end. Just like the middle state, it means, what is relied upon to think about before and after? It is the meaning of saying that it is just like that which is mutually causal. To prevent relying only on the body, another reason is given, which is, if it is only the body. This is related to not being the basis of the body. With the difference of time, just as the nature is different and becomes other, it is the order. For this, the order of the result is pervaded by the order of the cause. If it is not so, then all the results will occur simultaneously, because there is no difference, so it is unreasonable for simultaneous occurrence. Saying that itself is to cherish that. This speaks of pervasiveness. Speaking of the nature of one aspect, it is, if wisdom changes gradually from the body. The meaning of this is that whatever is sequential is produced by a sequential cause, like other sequential results. The wisdom of consciousness also arises sequentially. If it is admitted that this arises from the body, then the sequence of the body must be clearly stated and stated, which is the meaning of showing. To dispel the unestablished reason itself is this wisdom of consciousness. If it is not so, that is, whatever is not sequential.
