Etc. The eye, etc., is also not a support for the mind. "Outward" means the reason. Even so, what is the fault? It is said that the six consciousnesses of the eye, etc., are also. It is necessary to have some supports and intervals, because it is seen that everything has supports. Saying "will not be eaten by ghosts" is because there is no heaviness, and the mind thinks, what is the use of support? If you are attached to appearance, it is delusion. Even so. Some people read it as "at that time also." Therefore, because according to your view, everything is only with support. The mind dwells, the difference of its support is not determined, and some of the nature of karma is the cause of the senses, but not all, because there are no senses in the formless realm. The nature of karma also depends on the mind, not on the senses. Because it is so, the mind is the cause of the senses, but the senses are not the cause of the mind. How is this known? "The karma of the mind" refers to the karma of body and speech produced by the mind. These are because the mind goes first. Also, how does this word become not dependent on the senses? It is said, "The mind is." Even so, how is it? It is "also." "There is this and this" or "to do," the transformation of the mind is the connection with the previous one, it is the nature. It arises depending on the mind, because it has its Dharma. Saying "does not depend on the body" is to prevent dependence on the body with the senses, but the senses are dependent on the mind that depends on the mind, that is the meaning. If so, in the formless realm, because there is mind, it will lead to the production of senses, it is said, "also some." To be delighted with that body is delight itself. Therefore, for the mind and the senses, etc., the mind itself is the cause. Therefore, the present mind has the nature of discrimination, and abandons the previous birth. Saying this is like before.
