Similarly, the second "thus" is connected to the meaning. Here, it is thought in this way: for example, just as the cause is apprehended through the door of generating those and those distinctions, so too is this kind of appearance only an object of apprehension. Therefore, just as there is no action of generating the nature of distinction when form or other people are near, so too is it the nature of a cause. This is what it means. "Here" refers to the established conclusion. If, because it is too extreme, the Lord is the cause, then what is there to say about the eye and forms? Here too, it has already been said that each generates its own distinction. At that time, there is only the generation of a distinction that is like its own nature. What shows this is the word "eye" and so on. "Therefore" means that from understanding the distinction of the nature of the fruit consciousness, form and so on are established as the nature of the cause. Or, because that consciousness is distinct, therefore form and so on are the nature of the cause, and not otherwise. This is the concluding statement. "From the distinction of form" is the placement of the word to be explained. The explanation is that complete clarity is happiness and lack of clarity is unhappiness, that is, those that depend on happiness and unhappiness, such as whatever forms and so on are. The characteristic of those themselves, that is, the distinction of form in which the nature exists, is called that. The word "ni" is an ornament of the sentence. This shows the distinction of the fruit consciousness from the distinction of the object. What shows the distinction of the fruit consciousness from the distinction of the object-possessor is the phrase "similarly, the eye half-closed" and so on. The distinction that abides in the fruit consciousness is the eye and so on that are endowed with distinction, and because of the connection, in the fruit of the causal eye and so on, one thinks "I" and understands one's own nature as the nature of the fruit, and also understands the fruit that is related to oneself. If it is said that there is no reason why the Lord should not be understood as the nature of the cause, then it is "similarly, the Lord" and so on. Thus, the Lord transforms the fruit by transforming his own form.

It is thought that it is impossible to understand in any way. After the intermediate discussion is over, the topic itself is expressed as "therefore," which is because of what was said before. It is explained in two ways as before. This way is not present in both the Many and the Lord, to show this, it is the very nature that is separated from the cause. For the constant side, it is easy to understand. What is particularly thought about is that, just as it was not produced before, it is also like smoke, so just like trees and carnivores, etc., because of constancy and impermanence, it is the reason for producing differences. For form, etc., one should not doubt in that way, to show this, it is said that for the case of understanding form, etc., as the cause itself. At the time of the body's destruction, because the cause of difference and the possessor of difference arises, because of impermanence, it is the reason for producing differences. Therefore, these two words are a summary. Merit is a particularly excellent difference. When gathered, it means that merit may change, or when gathered, those are the causes, thus connecting them. The reason for no difference is that because of constancy, there is no difference in nature. The second explanation is that merit depends on the result. The rest is the same as before. The Lord, etc., are not, meaning they are not the cause. The reason for no difference is that the difference dependent on the result cannot be established from the Lord, etc. The word "etc." in "Lord, etc." includes nature and the individual, etc. In this way, in the definition of valid cognition (pramāṇa), having the distinction of the stages of cause and effect, when the Blessed One (bhagavan) is established as valid cognition, if other valid cognitions are refuted, either constant, or the individual having the nature of beginningless momentary continuity, some particular individuals are valid cognition, but those with proofs of giving and love, etc., are not, in order to refute this view, when refuting the proponents of the Lord, others said "if." Fully understanding and the word "etc." are the causes of production, in order, they are to make understand and to produce. In order to refute those who can establish, and to examine.
