Thus it should be done. Why is it not destroyed? It is said that it is because of recognition. "Also in the case of a pot, etc." means explanation. "However" refers to the words of others. In a situation where it is not seen, is it understood that "this pot is only staying" because it is seen by others? "Refutation" refers to the words of others. "Knowing thus" means understanding with the thought that "this pot is only staying." How does another person understand in this way from the sight of another? It is said through transmission, that when another person sees and says that a pot exists, from that, such understanding arises in another person. Thus, it is understood through the transmission of another person's sight. "Oneself" should be combined with the previous one. "Directly" means from the consciousness that directly acts. "Is great" means that it shows that it is not understood as firm through recognition by the sight of another person. "Moreover" means that what was seen in the past, what is seen now, is seen indirectly by another person. This is not known through recognition, but known by another person. If it is not like that, then sometimes only one kind of other is understood by another. Therefore, without relying on recognition, how can one understand that it is permanent even through another? Therefore, if there is indestructible recognition and clear manifestation of permanence, then such uncertain words are not like a reply, because it is not accomplished by the general characteristic. In our system, because it is contradictory, it only stands as a seeming reply. Therefore, our refutation is precisely timely, because it does not pervade the great general characteristic of form, etc. This is the thought. Moreover, the statement by Tre-lo-cha that the explanation of sound is for clarifying the meaning of reliance on recognition here should be considered elsewhere, so it is stopped for now. Now, in order to combine with the meaning of the commentary as it is, it is said again as such. "It is said as such" means the distinction of results, etc., because of the concomitance of what is to be proven.

Association. "This" refers to the characteristic of having the same result. "Result" refers to what has been done. "Others" refers to what exists on the vase. "At that time" refers to taking it out from him and combining it with "what will become here." If someone argues that "there is nothing in impermanent things," then combine it with "arguing." Contradiction Seemingly, it is only because it is not on the side of similarity that one thinks. If someone argues that "there is nothing in permanent things either," then connect it. Why? Merely impermanence is not enough. It is also true for permanent things. If merely doing something is pervaded by impermanence, then there will be no destruction of sound either. Therefore, saying "there is not even one refutation" refers to the meaning of the seemingly sound. Therefore, it is reasonable to regard this as a characteristic of having the same result, and keep it in mind. Then, he said, "The characteristic of the foot-eye is," because he acknowledged the valid cognition of recognition and the clarity of permanence, it will necessarily become uncertain. If this kind of refutation is the same result, then how did the similarity of concepts arise? He said, "The similarity of concepts is." Even though the thing that has been done has the same nature as the thing to be proven and the example, it is similar in nature. In particular, the nature of color and the nature of what can be perceived by the eye, etc., are close to expression. "For example" means explanation. "Like before" means that because it has just begun, sound is impermanent, like a vase. Just as it was said before, the vase and the thing to be proven, that is, sound, have the same nature, that is, what has been done. When impermanence is proven on sound, it is like expressing a refutation. How to say it? The vase itself is impermanent, but other sounds are not, because there is no nature of color and no nature of what can be perceived by the eye. If someone doubts how you avoid this kind of error, then avoid it by summarizing, that is, "therefore." "Here" refers to this type of error, and the previous expression is the answer. What is that? "Later" and so on. "If" refers to others. "Here also" refers to Ishvara.
