I wonder, what is the reasoning that can prove that the body is the cause of desire? That is, "without a body." Because the reason has been admitted, the meaning of this verse is "even without desire." Then, how is it the cause? The sutra says, "That which is the very object of manifest joy." "That" refers to "birth." It is merely a condition, not the meaning of the immediate cause. The immediate cause is the main cause. The so-called "established" means "already correctly entered." The body that is admitted as a reason is only considered to be the cause of desire, etc. It excludes the basis of being the immediate cause. "This" refers to the reasoning that the body is the very reason for awakening the habit of desire. The so-called "if you admit" means "if you acknowledge." The so-called "own tenet" is what one has admitted to be the immediate cause. The other party harms oneself with beauty. Even so, it is thought that there is a next life. If so, then is it thought that desire will always arise? The sutra says, "That is like the object." Therefore, it is thought that desire will not always arise. For whom the cause is desire, then his thing is that itself. Determining the examination is like the fire you ate. Unable to bear the other party becoming the cause of each other, so he said, "If." The body and birth are simultaneous, and desire arises at the same time, so it is not the cause, because the cause is pre-existing. Because this itself is the form of the treatise, it has already been said that "if the retinue with merit." If you ask what measure there is for simultaneous arising? The answer is, "Because you see desire at birth." Because desire is not seen before birth, it is certain that it arises simultaneously because desire is seen at birth. The answer to this is "co-equal from birth." For example, just as the desire that arises simultaneously is not the cause of birth, similarly, birth is not the cause of desire, because it arises simultaneously. Therefore, if one recognizes that what exists before is the cause, then it is co-equal, not properly.

It is said that the similar characteristic of attention should be regarded as constant, because it appears in the same way in the intermediate state. If it is said that the view of self and what belongs to self is the cause of attachment, but not attachment itself, is it not? It is said: Attachment is the object of aggregation, which is held by self and what belongs to self. Therefore, similarly, view is also only a cause, not just craving, if you think so. It is said, "To existence." Ignorance, namely, ignorance, when explaining the truth of the origin as the cause, it is not said that it is the cause itself, because merely obscuring cannot act as a motivator. But craving is said to be the cause, because it is the motivator, so it is said that craving itself is what is said. If you think, how can it be just one cause? Then it is said, "With ignorance." Saying "because the three are the cause" means that in the limbs of the twelve links of dependent origination, consciousness and karma are also mentioned. Someone says that it is unreasonable to show this as the truth in the scriptures, which refers to "in that and that." "Immediately after" means close. "Proving immediately after" refers to delusion and karma, etc. "Immediately after, craving itself is the cause," which is related to the previous one. Karma also becomes a cause in the same way, but it is not so. If you doubt why, it is said, "If there is no craving, karma has no power," which means "when it exists." "If there is no craving" is an explanation of it. "Complete abandonment" is not caused by being free from craving, however, that is also caused only by other karma. For the liberated ones, not having birth is also caused by not having karma, not by being free from craving, which is what is said in the debate, namely, "if," etc. If it is not like this, that is, there is no exhaustion of karma. For the time being, if there is no craving, then complete abandonment is not driven by the power of other karma, because it may exist elsewhere. However, if there is no craving, karma itself will not arise, therefore complete abandonment is caused by not having karma, not by other karma. To this also says
