The statement "although faults have differences" refers to mistaking attachment for phlegm disease. If so, it means saying they are equal. The statement "even if faults are unequal, one sees those with attachment" means saying there is even when there isn't. The statement "others, even if equal, are not" means saying there isn't even when there is. "Others" refers to being particularly fond of meditating on impurity. Semen is also not the cause of attachment, because it does not follow its arising and ceasing, hence the saying "others." "Others" refers to seeing those with attachment even without semen. If one wonders how to know they are separated from semen, it is because blood flows from the main limb. This indicates that there is no following of cessation. To show that there is no following of arising, stating one's own nature means that semen is not definite for one woman, but like blue color, it is common to all. Because it is a commonality, attachment will not become strong towards one woman, but it will be the same towards all. It is also not a change, because it is definite, so there is no following of arising. If one thinks that if attachment arises towards all, then semen alone is the cause of attachment, but appearance and behavior, etc., act together. Therefore, it is definite that there is following of arising only towards one woman, to dispel this doubt, it is said "if." "Because of uncertainty" means that because appearance, etc., are also mistaken for attachment, there is no following of arising, and even if there is no appearance, etc., if there is semen, because it exists, there is no cessation, this is the meaning to be expressed. To dispel the doubt that attachment, etc., are not definite causes, but are the causes of semen, etc., it is said "without certainty." If semen is the cause of attachment, then at that time, not grasping qualities, meditating on impurity, etc., there will also be attachment to grasping impurity, etc. Merely grasping beautiful appearance, etc., is not acting together, but it is grasping ugliness, etc., to dispel this doubt, it is said "if qualities." "All qualities will be grasped"

That is the answer. Why? Because it is said, "The cause is," it is merely having qualities such as form. Therefore, holding qualities is the cause. So, if semen is the cause, it will also become a state of not holding qualities. This is like the touch of cold and heat, the opposing attachment and hatred, or happiness and suffering, because the assembly is the same, it should not arise. Saying, "In the nature of phlegm, hatred is not seen like attachment," this is called "In what circumstances." Like the fruit, its two natures are also contradictory. If they are not contradictory, the fruit will not become like that either. What is said as those two, is attachment and hatred. What will not become contradictory? Saying, "Attachment, etc., is also not determined in the nature of phlegm, etc.," this is called "The determination of this." Saying, "Form, etc., also has the ability like semen," this is called "Form with special characteristics." Saying, "There is no fault," means that in all things, one will become very greedy, and this is the nature of such things. If one thinks how attachment is confused about form, then it is said, "Separated from form." The doubt is, "Because ugly forms also have ways of behaving, there is no attachment," this refers to the occasion. So, form is, this is the answer. Because it also arises even without it. If one thinks that the way of behaving will become the cause, then it is said, "The way of behaving and." Therefore, the way of behaving is not the cause. If one thinks that both will become the cause, then it is said, "In some cases." If one thinks that something is a suitable cause, then it is said, "To everything." It means that how form, etc., exists, this is prevented from becoming the cause itself. The so-called "no determination" means that without any one, it will not return. The so-called "from that" means from anything that arises even if it does not exist. From the determination, other faults are also said, which refers to one attachment, that is, having form and qualities. Why would one think that way? Because it is said, "To everything," that is, to people. The cause of holding qualities is merely having qualities. The so-called "at that time" is taken out from the heart, it is the habit from beginningless time.
