Because it is seen that various words and various languages are spoken. Although those exist, they are also unreasonable. The arising and ceasing of these conceptualizations are also unreasonable, in this way. 'Increasing' means by the force of habit. The object to be tamed and the thought of that object, and the path of that object being manifest, it is only from that that the yogi's language is used. Just as when we see a pillar, etc., we say, 'This is a pillar.' Saying that is what has already been said. 'All aspects of conceptualization' means the consciousness of direct perception produced by it. If it is thought, 'How can language be used from the direct perception of all aspects when there is no unclear appearance?' It is said, 'From the unclear appearance itself.' Because that is blocked, it is also the meaning that sound is used from the clear appearance. If one wonders, 'How does the one who says that see it?' It is said, 'He sees it with direct perception.' Explaining the aspect of sound is, 'This is a pillar.' 'Otherwise' means if sound is used only from the unclear appearance. At that time, this use would not exist. Or if it is thought, 'Here, sound is used from the unclear appearance,' it is said, 'Here,' referring to pillars, etc. 'To others' refers to seeing all aspects directly. Thus, since there is also language for those who do not conceptualize, it is not certain for conceptualization. Therefore, speaking is a common uncertainty. For those who have desire, etc., there is no doubt about turning back. Because there is no contradiction, the conclusion is made, 'Therefore.' The fault is having desire, etc., or having conceptualization. If it is thought that the view of self and what belongs to self is not the cause of afflictions, but rather grasping and remembering are the accomplishment of happiness and others. Since there is no deterioration even for those who have abandoned the view of self, etc., just like the mind stream, the continuum of afflictions also does not deteriorate, the doubt is 'If.' 'From others' means grasping and remembering the accomplishment of happiness, etc.

Fundamentally, it is impossible to completely sever faults. Therefore, it cannot be established that those who have abandoned views such as self do not have faults. If someone doubts that for those who have abandoned views such as self, the cause of afflictions is not found, then, just as not finding something that is completely beyond the senses, this "non-finding" that cannot be observed and has an unobservable realm is not used to prove "non-existence." Saying this is what is called "the cause of faults not being severed." Even if the cause of faults is not found for those who have abandoned views such as self, it is not true to say that it is impossible for them to have wisdom. This is the summary of this statement. If it is said that recognizing happiness, etc., that is unrelated to self is only because there is no cause such as desire, then that is too extreme. Saying this is what is called "how can one know what has not been seen." If someone asks, then how can one be sure that it is indestructible? The answer is, is it because it is permanent? Thinking that it will not be severed is because there is a reason, and the reason is that it is indestructible, so is it permanent? Or, even if it is not permanent, there is no way to cut off its continuation, so it operates continuously like the mind? Or, even if there is a way to cut it off, but like ordinary people, we do not know how to cut it off? The word "cause" refers to the reason relying on permanence itself. But this is also not established, because relying on desire, etc., is inherent. Saying this is what is called "because there is a cause." Just like cold, if it is said that it can also arise from an incomplete cause, then if there is an antidote to the cause, it will be uprooted, which will be explained later. Saying this is what is called "the antidote to the cause." Because by habituating the antidote, the cause will be severed. If one understands the nature of the cause, then the wise will also understand the antidote to the cause that is contrary to it. Saying this is what is called "understanding the nature of the cause." What is meant by "explanation" is that having a cause itself is considered to have an agent. This "it" refers to the cause of severing faults. Just as sesame oil is an antidote, this follows. If someone asks, why is it said to be an antidote? The answer is, because it has the characteristics of warmth and moisture. External refers to sesame oil, etc. External refers to wind, etc. The absence of a difference that relies on power refers to the deterioration of the ingredients of medicine.
