How is knowledge of the past, etc., manifest? Because it is produced by the action of arising and the basis of arising. Since it has been established that the knowledge of a yogi is manifest because the action of one's own and others' faculties is possible for the past, etc. Now, in order to show that the action of the faculty of the knowledge that arises from meditating only on what makes it manifest is also present in the object of the past, etc., it is said, "Furthermore." The sense consciousness has seen before. At that time, one realizes the function of one's own eyes, etc. Not only the eyes of others, etc. If even so, it seems that the function of the faculties exists for all inferences, so it is said, "Where does it arise?" "That" refers to all inferences. "Born at that time" means that the function of the faculties, which is not manifest, can enter. "That" refers to "born at that time." The connection is that one infers by inference the thing that has happened at what time. "The function of the faculties that occurred at that time" is also related to it. If someone doubts, who would say that, how do the past, etc., exist? In order to dispel this doubt, it is said, "That." What was seen before is the object of the past, etc. "If it is not the present, how can it exist? Because it is non-existent," this refers to "if." In order to show that even if it is in the future, how is it not existent, it is said, "Manifest." "All" also refers to the present. "Explaining the latter half" refers to "wanting to be manifest now." If even if there is no manifestation, is it not present in what can be understood by inference? Therefore, in order to dispel the doubt that existence itself exists apart from that, it is said, "If fire, etc." For inference, one should also examine in detail the appearance of what appears, because one will be more attached to it in that way, so the answer is, "No, there too." That itself is what has manifestation. "Why is that?"

It is said, "Appeared or." The term "doing or" should be regarded as "by another." The term "elsewhere" is simply invisibility. If seen, then it should not be looked at, it is not the object of viewing, if you think why it won't become like this? The answer is that it will not become like this, saying the words "after following the seeing." Why? If it is not like this, it is unreasonable, because it is not related. Taking what should be seen as pervasive, and then making subsequent inferences. If not seen, then the eyes and so on are for the sake of others, called the ungathered of the unseen, it will also accomplish the meaning of others. Therefore, the term unseen does not indicate existence. If the sign in a certain place is not any manifest sign, such a sign is seen on the forehead, seeing, will be seen, it is not an inference, because there is no labor, how can existence itself not become other than from manifestation? No, there too, because the related seeing is unreasonable elsewhere, therefore seeing itself is what should be inferred, because there is no deception. For the unseen, there is no non-deception. Stating the opposite situation is called "if." If it is not non-existence emptied by all abilities, how can it be seen in the three times? It is said, "Close to the statement of ability." The term all close to the statement of ability is born from the distinction arising after the present, referring to "that is this." Separation from this is non-existence. It itself is not other, it is just that there is no close statement. Because it is close to the statement, it is close to the statement, where is it not? Its nature is that there is no close statement, that is, it does not appear. It means that it is not seen in the three times. If it is itself what should be seen, then it is seen by ourselves, and the classification of becoming what will be seen, etc., is from the classification of etc., not that of yogis. Because everything is seen, so it is the reason for being present, the reason needed is
