It will not change either, because both are mistaken. Only what is made and impermanent, etc., will change, because there is no confusion between them, this is the debater's thought. The established conclusion is that this is not the meaning of mutual pervasion, but rather one influences the other. For example, when saying "tree," one thinks of the trunk; when saying "blue," one thinks of the lotus. Therefore, the common basis is not lost. Here, the sound of "vase" does not only apply to the shape, and the sound of "shape" does not apply to the collection of vases. Therefore, these two are not the same basis, that is its meaning. From where does this come? Because it is said "the sound of vase," sound is the meaning. The difference in ability is the ability to generate knowledge of form. Again, how is it that even if it is one-sided, the trunk can become the term "tree," but for things that change in one aspect, such as shape, etc., the term "vase" is not applicable? Because it is said "ancient terminology." Speaking from the perspective of others, this is because the ability is definite. The sound of "vase" does not only apply to shape, but only applies to the collection of self-nature. What has special ability is that the tree has the ability of the trunk. How does one apply something with special ability here? Because it is also said here, the sound of "tree" returns. In this way, other things can also be expressed, what introduces this is "if." Why? Because "twenty" is mentioned. Just as the sound of "vase" expresses other abilities, the sound of "twenty" is not like that, that is its meaning. From where does this come? Because it is said "however." Here, it refers to twenty cows. The answer is "there." "Many itself" refers to cows, etc., that are approximated by many itself. If it is said that expressing the particularity of the gathering, can't one understand the cows that have the actions of milking and cooking, etc., just through the word "twenty" itself? Then why add the word "cow"? Therefore, it is said "through milking." If it is said that the ability of milking and cooking can also understand the particularity of the gathering, then what is the use of adding the word "gathering of cows" at that time?

Dispelling doubts is what is meant by "also that." Therefore, it is thought that these two are not contradictory in terms of difference and the entity with difference. Similarly, for those without different meanings, the meaning of sound is established differently based on the difference between this and that. Furthermore, thinking that it is not contradictory to rely on the difference of habituation, it is stated as "or." It is both beginningless and a designation, that is, the habituation produced by it, and the nature of conditioned phenomena produced by it, all those beginningless moments are conceptualization, discrimination, and sound, which exist in it. Because this designation is determined by the power of the transformation of beginningless habituation, therefore "for anyone," that is, for Buddhists, there is no dispute, that is, in response to the refutation of "if there is no difference in ultimate truth, how can it become difference and the entity with difference?" This does not mean that there is nothing to refute and examine. Saying that there is no debate or thought is "for anyone, there is no dispute," that is, for those with reason, etc. If there is no obstacle to establishing the meaning of sound in this way, even so, it is necessary to rely on universals, etc., because others will say a hundred reasons, so it is said "if." Just as it is said, what is established merely by the transformation of mind is not the ultimate truth, for the four common universals, etc. If, as said, there is no reason at all, then in that case, it is unreasonable to argue that it is necessary to rely on the existence of universals, etc., what more is there to say here? It is unreasonable for those with limbs, etc., what is there to rely on for non-authoritative persons? There is nothing to rely on, thus revealing the error of what is said, and in order to reveal the error of distinguishing between correct and incorrect ways of stating according to the occasion, "mundane" is said. In mundane treatises, for the conditioned phenomena of sound, there is no seeing of non-confusion. What is it? It is the sign. For example, this is called "autumn Sharada," Sharada and with the ending of Sam, and Paraneda, Shiro, Napa, and birth.
