Now, this is said to be true. Therefore, because there is no object to be depended upon and no object that depends. This distinction refers to the distinction between what is to be depended upon and what depends, and the distinction between existing elsewhere and not existing. What connects to the present moment is "therefore." Regarding "transfer," in order to eliminate the idea that for mountains, trees, land, etc., there will be a transfer of the formless mind, it is said, "by its very nature." The meaning is this: For example, the nature of consciousness, which is happiness, gradually arises as the nature of another's body, etc., and because it is the same cause, it is also definitely grasped as "that itself." Similarly, after death, this intermediate existence gradually, or only in an instant, also arises as the nature of a body born from the essence of parents, etc., and also depends on the imputation of "that itself." Because in that way, the nature of consciousness has no other power, therefore. What is said to "become operative with what" means that it becomes the object of perception. What is said to be "the power of consciousness that has a bodily basis" means that for the appearance that manifests as wanting forms, etc., as objects, there is no other nature. However, becoming like that and completely transforming into the nature of the body and others, this is known by self-awareness, because other-awareness has been repeatedly prohibited. Then, how is it connected to "pillars, etc., do not move"? What is said to be "transfer by its very nature" means that it completely transforms into the appearance of a pillar. What is said to be "that also" refers to pillars, etc., as well. What is said to be "that is not" is the established tenet. Merely being born as the nature of consciousness, merely by that alone, it is not moving. Then, how does it become moving? It is said, "the consciousness of touch." The meaning is this: Merely being the nature of consciousness is not moving, but what makes the body become moving? It is not pillars, etc., it is the nature of effort, the consciousness of touch.

You yourself have such abilities. It is also inappropriate to transcend and examine the self-nature of things arising from their own causes. What is meant by 'when' is explanation. 'Body and so on' means only body and so on, not pillars and so on, because the consciousness of touch has such abilities. 'Otherwise not' means without the consciousness of touch. This is also answered based on the aspect of universal convention, because things do not have movement and non-movement, because those are made by being solely imputed. For example, like this, arising in other and other places from the power of habit, even if they are other and other, they are imputed as that one and said to move, similarly, for the moment arising in that place, it is also imputed as that one and said to be non-moving. Therefore, for those arising in that way from the power of habit, movement and non-movement are merely conventional, and they are also to be established by the presence and absence of the power of effort. If all phenomena were one, then movement and non-movement would be very distant opposites, which will be shown later. Because consciousness enters its own self-nature, it does not conceive of itself as arising from atoms, and there is no other reason for knowing it that way, because of that reason. 'The self-nature of form and so on' means the self-nature of external form and so on, because it gathers there. Even so, it is still the fault mentioned earlier, which is shown by way of conclusion, therefore it is atoms and so on. Others ask you also, is it the same for Buddhists? The answer is that it has such an appearance, saying that the coarse appearance is not separated but becomes one. 'Other' means other than the external. The doubter thinks like this: the external is the self-nature of atoms, if that appears, it would be a fault of atoms appearing, when one is particularly attached to experiencing one's own appearance, therefore it is the consciousness of the external, similarly, how this self is consciousness like happiness, because of that, the external
