So, this is what is to be proven. This refers to the proximate acceptance, etc., of this. This is the discernment that distinguishes the aspect of "this can be proven by this." Therefore, although dwelling together with those who have minds, it is because they strive to prove the independent one who possesses excellent qualities. How can the prover become meaningless? Even if there is accomplishment through the power of proof, there is no time to argue meaninglessness. If there is doubt, then stating that the example is not established itself clarifies that even so, the example is not established. Even so, it means abandoning the wise and acknowledging the independent one. Showing that the example is not established is from "pots and other things with minds" to "cannot endure." This shows that because there is no concordant side, there is no reason for this, therefore it is contradictory. Or, because the reverse pervasion is not shown, relying only on not seeing in the concordant and discordant sides, because of the reverse, it is the uncommon uncertain. Therefore, it is clear from the reliance on the power of proof. However, it means proving other concordant sides. Putting in means the independent one. Why? Because he is omniscient. It means that the independent one is omniscient. Explaining the meaning of the verse is from "thus" etc. What cannot be definitely understood is all objects. If the potter understands a little about his own work, such as proximate acceptance, etc., even so, he does not understand everything. This is also not the understanding of the true giving of one's own characteristics. Nor is it understanding all benefactors, because they have not realized the Dharma, etc. Because the independent one is omniscient, the potter is established as the motivator for pots and other things, that is what is to be said. That is not so either, that is what is to be said. By proving the maker, it means that as the accomplisher of all, omniscience itself will be accomplished, there is no other way, the maker of all himself also comes from that omniscience.

If it is said to abide in the state of "is," then the two, the all-doer and the all-knower, will become greatly interdependent. Therefore, it is thought that not even one will be established. If it is said to be the supreme lord, otherwise it is not, this will become not the all-doer. The so-called urging is that potters and others make pots and so on through urging. If it is not so, then it is separated from all-knowingness. Therefore, due to the fault of interdependence, not even one can be established, so the analogy is empty. In order to show that the omniscient nature here is not even the object of existence, it is said, "Furthermore." If you ask why it does not intervene? The answer is, "It has conduct," meaning that it does not intervene in non-holy conduct. The "that" refers to the lord. The so-called "wrong intervention" is doing things that are not in accordance with the Dharma. The meaning is that if one knows everything, then for beings who see all accomplishments as unbearable suffering of samsara, it is only reasonable to have compassion, and one will not urge non-holy conduct. Or who can understand his thoughts? Alas, this faith is very great, even making butchers and others into sacred places. Even if one doubts the qualities of omniscience and so on, how can one think that this is the supreme lord? Without understanding the thought, doubting omniscience will not stop. Therefore, because one is not able to make pots and so on, the opportunity is lost. Therefore, when it is said that "the root has been lost," it will be asked how it can be a valid cognition? Because there is no such distinction. Because there is no complete distinction, doubt is also established, so it cannot become a name of existence. Or, this is someone else's view. Therefore, this is because one has made an indication close to the sacred. That is not it either, this is the conclusion. The so-called "non-Dharma" does not only refer to the Dharma. For the time being, it will be explained at the beginning. Or, this is someone else's view, so one can freely intervene in sin.
