Even if not distinguished, it will inevitably arise. If even so, is it not certain that seeing the doing of that thing will necessarily lead to seeing what is to be done? If so, then with regard to a pot, have you not seen the certainty that seeing the form is not seeing the touch and so on? Is it not merely that apart from the conceptual thought of seeing a pot, there is no other distinction seen? In some cases, because the view of what is to be done is distinguished from the discriminating thought of seeing the doing of something, there is no difference. If what is to be done is certain, why is it sometimes not obtained? For the establisher, it is the same that it is sometimes not obtained. If the establisher is only not obtained because of some destruction or non-entry, if there is no destruction etc., then it will definitely be obtained. What is to be done, even if there is no destruction etc., will not be obtained, because the unproduced thing itself does not exist. The establisher is also the same, because its nature is to arise, so even if there is no entry, even if there are no destroyers etc., is it not that it is not obtained because the establisher is not produced and its own self does not exist? Even if it has the nature of an establisher that will arise, it cannot be without what is to be done, because the establisher itself does not exist, just as it is now. Therefore, the two, what is to be done and the doing of it, are distinguished in cognition, and the future thing is integrated into the present consciousness, abiding on the object as the object. If so, then in recognizing the cause, will the recognition of the effect also be included? From the point of view of convention, that is indeed the case. However, if the cause is recognized, it does not mean that the effect has already manifested, it is enough to say more. Because it is said "by the power arising from that," therefore "or" is said. "By that" refers to the effect that will arise. "By that pervading," although it will become the pervader, how is it understood as the cause? Therefore, "different" is said. "Without that" means without the effect that will arise. If when what will arise arises, the previous existence itself exists, and any existence is with all objects of reference

Then, how do some cause (things) to arise for the sake of cessation? When the future will occur, that is, when it arises, because the former has already ceased. Thinking about how it can arise? The other party said it is like the unborn. The answer is, how does arising occur? This means that if the cause of what will arise in the future does not exist at the time of the previously arisen effect, then it is not a cause. At that time, what previously arose also does not exist at the time of the effect, so it will not become a cause. What shows the difference is "if this exists." Isn't it possible for existence and so on to occur in the future? Then, that should also become a cause, thinking this, they said "the future is" and so on. Saying "that is not the author" is because of what will arise in the future. The proponent says that there is no difference in this either, which is "existence" and "arising." Explaining the meaning expressed by the word "existence" is "if this exists." Saying "if this exists, this arises" means that it is impossible to exist there outside of the nature of things. In terms of arising, it is said that "arising is also different from the nature of existence itself." Saying "because this arises, this arises" is also the meaning of the previously existing nature, but only the way of expressing it is different. Therefore, in either case, if this nature exists, it is said that this nature arises, which is the same for the cause that will arise in the future. To eliminate the doubt of saying the difference, it is "if" and so on. The proponent asks "what" in order to show the meaning of the nature of existence itself. Although it is like that, in order to eliminate the doubt, they said "for a long time" and so on. Or, the intervening body and so on themselves become the cause of discrimination, therefore, for discrimination, there is no existence and arising that occur immediately, if you say that, then they said "the body and so on also." Just like the consciousness of touching grass while walking, for deep sleep as well, on the consciousness that existed before falling asleep, only consciousness arises, without completely losing the difference.
