The connection that holds universally as 'to become' is established only by mere terms. If connecting to what is apprehended by direct perception, then for direct perception, there is no such thing as 'to become' that relies on objects. Therefore, connecting with superimposition is merely nominal. Thus, relying on the connection of the basis of subsequent inference, which is established only by mere terms, based on the extremely established relationship, i.e., after acknowledging the relationship, later, when seeing such an object, in order to grasp the nature of the subject, the action is of the form 'this is this,' the action is established, because it is similar to that, just like before, the one who understands enters by inferring its nature. How does it become? When merely seeing form, when realizing the action of the collection of touch, etc., it is called abiding. Similarly, other inferences should also be examined, because they rely on relationships. Having thus shown that inference relies on terms, it is 'later' spoken about direct perception. 'Previously, not even being able to move a blade of grass' is what is said in the ultimate truth, but in conventional truth, it is said to be the one who enters. For holding pervasion, the very clear direct perception itself is what establishes it, but if it is not clear, it should not be thought of as the one who holds pervasion, because inference does not enter. Even if it enters, for the one without end, for the inference that contradicts the opposite, pervasion is held by the power of the non-apprehension of the pervasive cause, and also because the pervaded and the pervading objects are from direct perception, it is not without end. In order to clarify the meaning that has already been spoken, because of its difficulty, to the inferior through debate, therefore 'if again' was said. 'Other things to be observed are also not objects' is how it connects. The stated limit of establishment is 'in this,' etc., meaning that valid cognition is not realization. So, what is the nature of valid cognition? 'Other again,' etc., was said. For the collection of form, etc., everything that has parts and divisions.

The examination is that in terms of convention, it is one, which is the fifth (question) of babbling. Relying on uniqueness, thereby establishing the knowledge with that object as valid, that is its meaning. For the aggregates of form, etc., having limbs and stages, universal examination is also making names, because the object, etc., is one. The sound of "etc." refers to time. This "is" is a detailed explanation, saying that this is a summary of what has been said before. Also, since there are no limbs and stages, how can it be determined as uniqueness? (Answer:) It is said that even the attachment to becoming uniqueness is. How are the object and time, etc., not different? The answer is that that is also not different. The object and time, etc., of the aggregates of form, etc., are not different, and it is not the ultimate truth, but for the aggregates of form, etc., it is the generation of the collection of abilities, this is the sixth (question) of the author. Similarly, what has happened and what will happen are also manifested as uniqueness, thus connecting them. For this, two reasons are stated, namely belonging to the same continuum, etc. Similarly, for holding pervasiveness, etc., by negating from non-that, it should be understood as clinging to one. In order to establish other views, a question is asked, namely if, etc. At that time, it becomes the cause, for this statement, it is thought that the knowledge of establishment is not the cause of what is to be done, even if there is no knowledge of what is to be established, it can still apprehend what is to be done. After establishing the second discrimination, refute it, namely or, etc. The knowledge of establishment is not the knowledge of what is to be done. Why? Because there is doubt about the establishment of what is to be done, such as burning. Why is there doubt? Because what is to be done depends on other causes, it is impermanent. Explain the two answers in order, namely the established, etc., and if that knowledge is also not valid, then, even if the ability to arise and know is lost, there is no harm at all, then that knowledge is also not non-valid.
