is a fault, but for one's own lineage, it is a virtue, because one can speak of the previously measured object. In the Pramāṇavārttika, inviting the works of Master Dignāga as one's own task is to solidify this transformation, what is unreasonable about that? If it is like this, because the author wrote the Pramāṇavārttika, the teacher's words are also written very little, similarly, the Pramāṇavārttika is also a commentary, then, this is only stating the source. When he wrote the three chapters with words and order, he could not avoid the faults of the time, which is like the sun showing the self-nature of the body. Therefore, the true situation here is that Master Devendrabuddhi wrote the Pramāṇavārttika with wisdom, but in reality, he did not hear the Pramāṇavārttika, however, he is Dignāga himself. Following the teacher through his meaning. For him, it is impossible to surpass merely expressing his manifestation slightly, because the ocean of scholars wrote the explanation of the Pramāṇavārttika, and Master Devendrabuddhi therefore obtained such a special feature of gathering. Just as he did, he was very attached to Dignāga, and for the instructions of the Pramāṇavārttika, he also arrogantly commented without relying on it, and saw the faults of Dignāga everywhere, thinking that it was his Pramāṇavārttika, so he was happy to write books. The person who wrote the Pramāṇavārttika's ability was weakened by the explanation, so he temporarily put aside the explanation of the remaining parts, and also put aside giving the special features of the instructions. The idea is this: the pramana that is obviously intended to be established will temporarily appear in a major way. Regarding Dignāga's Pramāṇavārttika as true, the rest is not harmful either. Even if one does not realize the very profound content, just by this, the listeners will eventually regard the Bhagavan as pramana. If there are some people with excellent wisdom, then they will truly realize it. Therefore, Devendrabuddhi has no lineage of instructions, so it is likely to have errors in expression. Or, even if there is no error, if one is very attached to Dignāga, then that is his Pramāṇavārttika.

It is used for connecting, but there is no such error in the order of chapters in writing and usage. Especially, because there are names and numbers such as first and second. Since it does not agree with the directional elephant, it is not abandoned either, because there, first of all, it is said for praise, which itself is consistent. Therefore, how is it that the most famous chapter order is used to create the Commentary on Valid Cognition? This statement is valid. Other scholars also believe that this chapter order is correct, so they will explain the first part of other chapters. If so, then the statement that the original language such as "Validity is correct" has disappeared is also non-existent. For the remaining three chapters, the sound of the scriptures has not disappeared either, just as a tree with a branch cut off is still called a tree. This also explains that at the beginning of the scriptures, praise is obvious. Moreover, since the inference of one's own understanding is immediately followed by the inference for the understanding of others, it is said that it is not emphasizing immediacy there, but to prevent confusion of order. Just as the inference is spoken before exceeding the direct perception of the reason, since all writings are for others, if one asks why the inference for others is not before the inference of one's own understanding? Then, saying "immediately after the inference of one's own understanding" is to emphasize indicating the approaching later time. Similarly, the inference for the understanding of others precedes the inference of one's own understanding, which will be clarified by reason. This shows the order from entering to speaking. Merely the inference of one's own understanding will not become the inference for the understanding of others, because it depends on the knowledge to be taught, etc., and there is the possibility of time intervals, etc. For this very reason, the word "preceding" is used. Therefore, since there is an interval in entering, is the speaking also necessarily immediate? Or is there no other inference?
