If someone says that there are languages seen elsewhere that are not deceptive, it is because of different races. Even if there are those who do not deceive others, or treatises of the same kind, as long as deception is not seen, there is no particular contradiction. If there is deception, then neither can be trusted. Therefore, if it is said, it is likely to cause doubt about the meaning, and it is the doubt about the meaning that leads to entry. If the content to be expressed is not said, then the common doubt for both sides is like a discarded fruit, and it will not be a factor for entry. Also, when doubting "this content to be expressed, or other content, or there is no content to be expressed at all," how can one enter? For the enlightened one who seeks the characteristics of the content to be expressed, this has already been said. Some may hear from others at that time and then pursue the meaning. If such a situation is not heard, then attempting to explain it like this from the beginning is not an object of faith either. If it is said because of difficulty, then it is not so. Even if difficult parts are seen in the middle and end of the treatises, it is not necessary to explain the beginning first. Even if explained, there is no possibility of confusion in the order. Nor has it been seen that inference is more difficult than the chapter on direct perception. Furthermore, when starting to infer, if the initial speech is only to prove entry into the treatise showing inference, then what is the use of doing this? Because it is dedicated to explaining the definition of valid cognition (pramāṇa), just like direct perception, in the context of special definitions, just like in the Pramāṇavārttika, entry into showing inference has also been established. Here, it is not considered that direct perception needs to show results separately, and in the Pramāṇavārttika, there is also no showing of results for self-benefit inference, because dedicating oneself to showing valid cognition itself achieves entry. Therefore, why abandon the order and show inference first? Therefore, the thing to do for the initial speech is to enter into the initial. If someone is dedicated to explaining the inference that is in the third position first, then why explain inference first? To this question, distinguishing between meaningful and meaningless relies on inference.

Therefore, saying "should be explained," it is reasonable to say so, because it is for establishing it as such, saying "explanation" is not. This is because, if the commentator doubts "why first say inference," it is to introduce and first show, not just explain. Because that is the first that depends on the author. It is enough to say a lot. Therefore, the teacher The Power of the Gods is not foolish. For the Vaisheshika school and the explainers who have determined complete grasp, there is also no need, therefore the teacher's is the best. Furthermore, if valid cognition itself is the first, then the two verses such as "severing the net of conceptualization" become the first of this itself, not the first of inference. If it is said that even if it is said to be the first of inference for one's own meaning, these two verses should be regarded as the first chapter of establishing valid cognition, then, although it can be seen that way, the teacher did not do so, which can be completely done with one's own words. Why? Because the teacher in this place is not proficient, but we are proficient, in order to become like this, so it was not abandoned. Therefore, if one hides the source of wisdom by using explanation as an excuse, wanting to speak of the teacher's faults, then at this time, it is also difficult to reduce the meaning in that way. If it is said that this, which is remembered in the mind of the one who composed the Commentary on Valid Cognition, such as "valid cognition is correct," should be spoken in language, at this time when there is no dispute, after prostrating to the Bhagavan with two fruit positions with "severing the net of conceptualization" etc., and again prostrating with four positions of cause and effect, saying "valid cognition should be properly explained" is unreasonable. Also, at what time is "valid cognition is correct" etc. only through making commentaries, in this case, after prostrating to such a Bhagavan, the one who composed the Commentary on Valid Cognition says "valid cognition should be explained," at this time when taking it out from the heart and expressing the meaning, if the meaning of "severing the net of conceptualization" etc. itself is shown by "valid cognition is correct" etc., then saying
