It is not valid to say that there is 'Kha-bo' just by using the name without knowing anything. Therefore, for 'I', it is easy to understand like 'knowing' and 'another' etc. The conclusion is 'Therefore, valid cognition' etc. The meaning is, if we say 'from oneself' considering arising or cognition, then, in the first case, for example, from oneself, that is, from one's own cause, valid cognition arises, just like another is not valid cognition. What arises is valid cognition or non-valid cognition. For what arises as valid cognition or non-valid cognition, it is not possible to prove other differences. Valid cognition itself does not arise from itself, and non-valid cognition will also arise from itself, that is the meaning. The second case is, showing that it is also not in valid cognition, is 'form is the same'. In valid cognition or non-valid cognition itself. If the form is the same, but it does not harm anything, then it is not valid cognition. This should be considered: first, do you want no harm, or later? The statement for the first case is, first is 'everything' etc., meaning that non-valid cognition is also. Just by not harming, it cannot be valid cognition. The statement for the second case is, later there is doubt about the harmer. If there is complete certainty even about doubt, then, the thing that causes harm, determining whether it exists or does not exist, that will be from direct perception or inference. Again, why should it be said that it is certain from direct perception and inference themselves? Because it is said that 'other valid cognition does not exist'. Because there is no other valid cognition different from direct perception or inference, therefore it is certain from these, and it is thought that direct perception and inference do not intervene in the harmer that will arise. Therefore, for non-valid cognition, later it is not certain that there is harm, and for valid cognition, it should be understood that it is not certain to exist. Thus, refuting those who say that valid cognition arises from itself. Thinking that this will fall into the category of definition because of not deceiving, and therefore will hinder oneself. Wanting to survive by reversing one's own view, so temporarily thinking about this view, said 'if' etc.

Wherever the cognition that establishes something arises, it is not accepted that a non-deceptive cognition arises from it. If it did arise, it would be unreasonable not to understand it as it is. However, it is accepted that it arises for other objects. Therefore, it is said, "That, will arise for other objects." To prevent this, it means that the valid cognition is to be proven by the non-deceptive cognition that arises later, meaning that there is no proof for what has passed. Some others do not consider merely the former to be past, just as, for example, when looking at cotton cloth, the threads that existed before. Therefore, it is distinguished by "past." However, it is not certain that the non-deceptive cognition itself is valid. However, since the cognition that establishes becomes very clear through habituation, the characteristic of validity, non-deception itself, must emanate from itself and abide. Therefore, if one doubts that only the valid cognition with the characteristic of non-deception can exist, then the cognition that establishes also... Next, it will be asked: How does validity itself prove? Why is validity itself not proven? It is answered, "Because it is the object of doubt." That is, because it is the object of doubting "whether this is valid or not." If it is said that it is determined to be valid merely because it is the object that establishes, then it is countered: How can that object establish or not establish? Why? Because that cognition has not been proven to be valid, because its function has not been experienced as completed. Therefore, the cognition that establishes, by the power of not being valid, determines the object to be that which establishes; and by determining the object to be that which establishes, it also determines it to be valid, therefore, it is clearly mutually dependent. Therefore, since it has been established as the object of doubt, how can validity itself refute everything? Even if it is admitted that there is a fault in the term "not speaking" itself, even so, how will you survive by relying on refutation? Thinking this, one remembers the refutation that has already been said, such as "If it is proof, I..." etc. Now, abandoning the particularity of one's own system of practice, to prevent the system that speaks of non-deception.
