If it is completed, then at no time will there be deception or doubt, such a conclusion has appeared. If someone says: not valid cognition, then say: it should be observed from the knowledge of harm, or from the defects of the root senses, such as blurred vision, etc. Because it is said: harm and root are with faults, eliminate it through knowledge. If the harmer is also another valid cognition, then there will be no end, so it is said the knowledge of harm, etc. This shows that all valid cognitions arise from themselves, and non-valid cognition arises from others. If knowledge arises only from others, and its dharma, valid cognition, does not arise from others, what is the connection? Or, in order to eliminate the doubt that non-valid cognition also arises from itself, showing another view, is other, etc. The meaning is this: for example, just as the meaning of knowledge arising from itself depends on the cause, similarly, the knowledge that has already arisen, valid cognition, does not depend on others, because it is co-emergent. When knowledge arises, it is not the same as existing before it was not born. Therefore, what exists universally is eliminated by exclusion, is eliminated without being eroded by others. Therefore, even if it is not valid cognition, it does not arise from itself. The refutation is: if the universally acceptable valid cognition of knowledge, after excluding the object that is excluded, does it itself exist in the determined object? Or, universally existing, through exclusion, is it far from its own object. In that state, for the first case, because exclusion is obtained, is it produced from itself? It is not non-valid cognition, but it is produced from some difference. That difference must also be recognized without being eroded, if it is not so, then after distinguishing, it will not become the name of valid cognition and non-valid cognition. Therefore, both must be determined from others. Or, if exclusion or attainment is also determined as valid cognition from itself, then the determination of non-valid cognition will also change in the same way, therefore both are determined from themselves. Therefore, you have put forward the second case. To this

Furthermore, there are two distinctions: the nature of being a valid cognition that pervades all consciousnesses, it either arises from its own cause or does not arise. To this, the first distinction is eliminated by "if" and so on. Thus, "arising" means arising as the valid cognition itself. "Other" means the nature of not being a valid cognition. The harmer is the one who realizes the non-existence of what is clung to as non-existence itself. "Destroying existence and producing non-existence" is not destruction, because only by knowing things as they are can the name of valid cognition be seen. When consciousness arises as the nature of valid cognition, in some place where things exist, the valid cognition itself exists, if the harmer can destroy it, it is unreasonable. For example, "Give yogurt to the Brahmins, give Darva to Kaundinya," here, the existence of things itself does not negate the existence of giving yogurt to Kaundinya by specifically excluding it. However, clinging is negated by saying generally "Give to the Brahmins," because the meaning of mere following thought is uncertain. If even there it is said "Give yogurt to the Brahmins," if the meaning heard is meaningless, if it is unchanging, then giving yogurt to Kaundinya is also because it is the law of the existence of things. How to negate it, just like the valid cognition itself that has become the nature of consciousness. Therefore, the general and the specifically excluded both exist in language, but not in the entering of the existence of things. What is the elimination of the second distinction, through "why" and so on. The one with the nature of mind goes along in all states. The imputed substance is the self, and the categories that have become its nature are consciousness and happiness, and so on. Valid cognition is only correct, because it is the nature of consciousness. Examining the self is not produced from anything, and its nature, consciousness, is not produced in any way, because its nature is not unproduced, if it is refuted in this way, then the refuter admits non-production and the nature of the self is even more
