Therefore, just like direct perception, sound can also manifest its own nature. If that is the case, there would be no fault due to the nature of having no object of focus. However, just like inference, sound can also clearly express the meaning of consciousness. Why? Because I say, "I am like that," which is to clearly show other ways of appearing. Those who analyze, based on appearance, explain other aspects, such as "or" and so on. The "this" here is used as a definite connector. "I" is used as a definite connector. Based on meditation, it is also combined with the Pramāṇavārttika. The so-called "having a speaker" refers to the teachings of the Buddha and so on. The so-called "not having a speaker" refers to the Vedas. This is combined as it is commonly said. Regarding valid cognition, the statement that "there is no such distinction" refers to "or." Statement is the speaker, that is, the one who speaks. Regarding symbols, the worldly language that makes special meanings true is also the Vedas. Therefore, the Vedas also have a function, just like, regarding valid cognition, those who appear in adolescence and so on. How is it pervasive? The sutra says, "From various kinds of types." Difficult to say and difficult to hear, etc., and the differences in the ability to detoxify, etc., or to show meanings beyond the senses, etc., whatever needs to be examined as different kinds of things, these are all universally common. What is said about this, such as "or because there is no difference from this," is because there is no difference from the Vedas. If that is the case, because there is no valid cognition that separately determines words, it is thought that one should not only acknowledge the valid cognition of the Vedas as valid cognition. The so-called "made by humans" is the doubt of others. The so-called "teachings of Vishnu," etc., because they are considered to be made by humans, this is a harm to what is not made by humans, this is the final conclusion. The so-called "human" etc., is to refute. It should not be said that because the Vedas are not understood, they are not made by humans, because it has been a very long time since the past.
