Etc. is said. The so-called "only this much" means only by the nature of accomplishment. Then, how is enjoyment a definite combination? The answer is, "By the very thing to be accomplished by enjoyment." It is said. Or, explaining the definite combination, the purusha, or the third action, is "Here is my fruit," etc., two verses. The so-called "that itself" refers to the purusha itself with the distinction of fruit. Thus, after examining the definite combination in the sense of speech, in order to show that eight kinds of distinctions should also be examined in all aspects, it is "the meaning of speech," etc. In order to clarify those eight distinctions, it is "definitely combining is measure," etc. Here, the so-called "statement" refers to starting to refute. Among them, from the first nine, etc., refuting the pure distinction, it is urging action and "separation," etc. Definite combination means appearing to want to be a definite combination. If it is said that separation from definite combination, etc., is also a definite combination, then who will prevent it at that time? It is said, "When," etc. If even if the object to be definitely combined, etc., is not understood, why is the action not understood as a definite combination? The answer is, "Where is it understood," etc. The so-called "that" refers to action. The sign of the purusha is because the sound of definite combination is close. The so-called "like accomplished and past, etc.," is like saying "Mount Sumeru exists" or "The glorious Harshadeva has appeared." By what does it become a definite combination? How does the action that has become like this correspond to the purusha? The answer is, "Belonging to the world," etc. It should be known that, by occasion, it is the nature of urging action in order to make oneself accomplished. Action is also offering or heaven. Because definite combination is the dharma to be definitely combined, therefore the action corresponding to the purusha is a definite combination, because it shows that the dharma of the subject definitely combines the dharma. If this is the case, then just like the dharma of offering, etc., the dharma of the Veda as the one who definitely combines will also become a definite combination, because it is action, thus doubting.

The so-called "making known" refers to mentioning "that nature" and so on. The dharma of the one who definitely connects, which is intelligence, is "action," meaning "is to be accomplished." To this, the answer is "because it is established" and so on. The one who definitely connects, like intelligence, because its dharma is also to be accomplished, therefore it is not to be accomplished, so one wonders how this can be a definite connection? If the one who definitely connects, the dharma of sound is not a definite connection, then because it is to be accomplished, action itself will become a definite connection, this is to show this, so it says "if" and so on. "This" refers to offerings and so on. If it is not the impeller of the object, is it not? Then how can it be said that its dharma is connected by it? To this doubt, the other party himself said: "To the object, it is approximated." It means that the nature of the impeller, the definite connection existing in the sound, because it is approximated by combining with the object, therefore "that nature" is the definite connection itself, is extremely imputed. Because it is so, it is said that action is a definite connection, to this, the answer is "that is not established" and so on. How can action, in the state of being unestablished, be approximated and become the nature of the impeller? If something is established, then it is establishing an unestablished dharma, action is unestablished. Therefore, it cannot be approximated as the impeller itself. Therefore, how can it be approximated and make action a definite connection? If after approximating, action is not connected by it, then will it become something to be accomplished? To welcome this doubt and refute it, it says "if this is to be accomplished." "This" refers to action. Established and unestablished, these contradictory things, are all on the same action. In order to refute that cognition is the impeller from other aspects as well, it says "if to be accomplished" and so on. "That" refers to the action. The definite connection of the definite connection itself will become not itself, thus connecting. The definite connection of cognition itself should also be refuted immediately, this is the concluding remark. Therefore, action itself is not a definite connection. If so, action
