The Bhagavan acts through the means of arising valid cognition, and valid cognition also acts through the means of ascertaining that very one. Therefore, it is thought that the Bhagavan is like the place of the eye and objects, and so forth. Superiority also comes from the Bhagavan himself, who possesses valid cognition, just as the first statement was spoken. Now, for what reason is the action of valid cognition shown? It is for the sake of establishing the conventional truth. For the sake of establishing non-duality, valid cognition or that itself, if it does not rely on the conventional truth, is not able to exist on its own. It is said thus, therefore, even though manifest pride is shown in the continuum of cultivating the path and so forth, it will be explained that all of this is conventional truth. However, from non-duality, omniscience also becomes conventional truth, because there is no awareness more subtle than one's own nature. However, since it has become its master, from what appears to be a close indication, those who subsequently prove it, in order to accomplish that and that meaning, establish the name of omniscience, therefore it does not go beyond the conventional truth. Therefore, if both are conventional truths, then how is this method of mainly showing reliance on the valid cognition that is in accordance with establishing omniscience? Indeed, because omniscience itself is what is to be established, and the valid cognition that establishes it is also obtained from that itself. If so, if the eye and so forth are mainly spoken of because of the close need for a person, then there is no valid cognition at that time, because the term of valid cognition that cuts off the object is a negation of them. The Bhagavan is the main one because of the close need for the nature that will arise. Valid cognition also benefits through an indirect means, therefore, relying on that, the Bhagavan himself is the main one. If that is the case, then the words made by a person are beneficial, why then refute both what is made by a person and what is not made by a person below? It is true that what is made by a person is beneficial, however, it is benefited by valid cognition, but not by the valid cognition itself that ascertains external objects. What is benefited by valid cognition is also the Bhagavan's.

If it is according to the scriptural authority, then, for those with complete and perfect qualities, it is real, and for those who appear exalted, it is through lineage, because the place of origin of what is said by them and what is said by this is the same. Because it is in this way that it needs to be proven, and because by generating the measure for those with complete and perfect qualities, one enters into the means of higher realms and liberation through faith, therefore, relative to the measure that we rely on, the omniscient one called 'Near Need' is shown to be the root of the measure. Because of accumulating the undefiled merit and wisdom, it is impossible to determine how vast this field of activity is. For the aspect of all omniscient ones, because there is a nature of vastness that depends on the field of activity, the difference is clear. The Vedas and Ishvara, etc., are inferior to the two measures, so relative to that, what is there to think about the great nature of the Bhagavan? If even wanting the aspect of the omniscient one, is it not the case that one does not abide because of doubt? How, relative to that, will the excellent field of activity of the measure become clear? Because there are no two measures in Gadadhara. For the omniscient one who doubts there, relative to that, thinking of the great nature is very faithful. It is indeed so, such a statement is a thought about existence, if something like that arises from the difference of the collection, then, at that time, because the two measures have not entered, even if there is no certainty, because there is no harm. Who can prevent his great nature? That is what is thought. The absence of harm will also be explained later. The five Vedas, etc., relative to direct perception, wanting to show that inferiority itself, when showing what is to be done with this thought, the previous view is put forward, which is 'if it is,' etc. At that time, it is called direct perception. 'The treatise is because it is not so,' etc., what will become a fault here like direct perception and inference? It is not an object of a close characteristic, or relying on holding a connection. From that itself, that is, from the treatise. 'Here, called speech,' etc., is receiving. 'The very nature of meaning is not a cause,' etc.
