Isn't it showing the sign of destruction that has been definitely determined? How does the Blessed One understand it? The Blessed One also, through the door of knowledge that appears to show what is generated by his own blessings, definitely shows all the wishes of the listeners, so there is no fault. If it is said that manifestation and the seeker dwell in other continuums and enter, then if this fault is the same, then the listeners themselves will see everything. For different continuums, there is no fault of seeing everything. The very act of enabling one to obtain the near-showing is also not lost. If this method also applies to the all-pervading and the powerful, etc., then who can deny that it is a valid means of knowledge? "That it does not exist" itself is the fruit of the treatise. Or, who would deny obtaining the object that is clung to? It is said that obtaining the meaning of the doctrine is a valid means of knowledge. The doctrine, whether it is sought or clarified, grasping one of them, everything will abide well. If it is said, "Where does this come from, that knowledge itself is a valid means of knowledge?" If so, why don't you consider the eyes, etc., as valid means of knowledge? Because if they exist, the object to be measured is established, so it is said. The meaning is that if there is something that does not depend on others, because the object is completely determined, the object to be measured is established and exists, then that which establishes it is the valid means of knowledge of the noble one. The eyes, etc., are not like that, because even if they exist, if knowledge does not arise, complete determination cannot be accomplished, therefore, since completely determining things depends on knowledge, it is not a noble establisher, therefore others are not valid means of knowledge. If knowledge arises, then completely determining things does not depend on others, therefore it itself is a valid means of knowledge. This will also be used later. Thus, the ultimate nature of one's own essence is briefly explained, and after stating the definition of "non-deception," the fruit is stated, which is "if there is deception, it will be eliminated," because it is not a valid means of knowledge. For example, the appearance of knowledge of hair, etc., seen by someone with cataracts. Cutting off these is the special fruit of non-deception, that is the meaning. If the eyes, etc., can also see forms, etc.

In order to dispel doubts, isn't it also accepted that the eyes and so on are also valid cognitions? How does it say? "Or the sense faculty is valid cognition, or it is related to the object, or the sense faculty or possesses self, mind or everything itself." Because it says so. If it is said that only the non-deceptive consciousness is valid cognition, and the sense faculties and so on are not, how is this to be understood? What are the sense faculty and the object? The sense faculty and the object have already been mentioned. That itself, that is, valid cognition itself, will become valid cognition, because it will depend on its expression. The thought is this: for the time being, whatever knowledge arises from the sense faculty, such as seeing, must be undoubtedly acknowledged as the nature of completely deciding the meaning. If it is not so, then it is not well said that "the eye that does not completely decide the meaning is valid cognition." Even if the nature of deciding the object arises, only the connection with it is valid cognition, and the eye that is not its nature is not. Its complete decision of the object does not depend on anything else, but its arising depends on the sense faculties and so on. Whatever arises from something, all of that is not a necessary condition for its qualities, because the black that arises from the white part will also return to the white part. Although merely imputed expressions cannot be refuted, they are not necessary to be imputed in the context of determining things. Therefore, valid cognition with the nature of realizing the meaning cannot find the sense faculties and so on. Therefore, the sense faculties and so on are not valid cognition, but it is the non-deceptive consciousness. If it is said that it becomes valid cognition for the sake of the manifestation of the meaning, but not for the sake of non-deception, just as others say, "In that, there was no prior, knowledge of the object." And so on. Therefore, if there is doubt as to why it is specifically said "non-deceptive," then it is said, "All seeking of valid cognition is." The meaning of "completely combined" is the meaning of entering according to the occasion. If it is said, isn't it seen in the world that actions pursue meaning? Why is it said to pursue non-deceptive meaning? If it is said that merely the manifestation of meaning will become valid cognition, then actions pursue meaning.
