Although wisdom is also the same, they do not merely remain at that level, because those who are constantly diligent in meditation always abide in the ultimate meaning. These are not followed for the purpose of meditation, however, because they want to understand and enter into practice, even if realization arises, if it is not combined with meditation, there is no final result, and it is reasonable to say that it only remains at that level. This is to eliminate with the slightest merit of praise and irony, merely being associated with two languages can also cut off doubts, so there is no doubt, there is no need to add the word "and". Immersed, there is water on the tip of his finger. There is no sorrow in the mind of the desire deity. And so on, first is to make it clear, for example, just as it is almost invisible here, it is clear from the middle. Then, one might wonder, if there are other explanations of the Pramāṇavārttika, why write this? If in doubt, then explain that there are no abundant rules, because it is separate from it. For what has no taste, it will not enter there. For the Pramāṇavārttika, even if there is an explanation, because there is that, there is no obstacle to entering. If that is the case, for this part to be explained, the essence of the students, the teacher Devendrabuddhi, and the explanation in pure places, the teacher Dharmakīrti and so on, are there not? So, what taste is there? Although there are many, but because there is no error of language and thought, so it does not confuse the teacher's thought, those are not seen, in order to show this meaning, first say, here the speaker, that is, the explainer, is not seen. In general, what kind of non-establishment is it? It is said "occasional meaning", the meaning that appears in the occasion is vast, that is, the collection that can be measured by how many collections of languages is completely fulfilled, the actions of those are not seen, not seen. This is temporarily an elimination, merely repeating what has been said, the explanation enters, even if the explanation is very vast, it will not be particularly complete, if I am only doing an action, then it is said. Not doing it in detail, is it also because of fear of error? Or is it because the wisdom of the result is uncertain? This negates what is to be said.

What has been said is said again. Here it is also shown that there are cases where words that are relevant to the topic are expanded into what is irrelevant. For example, like expanding the doctrine of "holding the subtle particles without mixing them with formless wisdom" to the view of the Sutra School. By the word "meaning," it shows the extensive expansion of what is not relevant to the topic. For example, like expanding the establishment of the entities of cause and effect as a doctrine in the teachings of the formless Yogacara school, or in the commentary itself. This refers to saying what should not be said. Having spoken of the faults of speech in this way, now we will speak of the faults of mind. There are three faults of mind: because of being mistaken about the sole reality of what is to be measured, and because of not examining the subject matter and necessity of the treatise, and because of being unseemly. Among these, with regard to the sole reality of ultimate reality, those speakers who have verbally eliminated whatever is accumulated because that wisdom, which correctly and definitely holds it, considers it to be non-essential, i.e., not in accordance with reason, are not seen. If the sole reality of what is to be measured is realized, then undoubtedly the non-essential will be eliminated; if the non-essential is eliminated, then it is proven that the sole reality of things is not realized. Whatever is brought up to refute, such as even that which is enveloped by doubt becomes valid cognition, and so on. Or, the ultimate meaning of the treatise itself is the subject matter or necessity. Holding it is to correctly summarize the subject matter or necessity; those speakers who have eliminated the non-essential through this wisdom are not seen. That ultimate meaning is either partial or complete. A partial case is, for example, in the statement, "Arising from sound, it is also for the purpose of showing manifest desire," it is reasonable that for the knowledge that has sound as its object, the mere perfection of manifest desire is sufficient, because others are unrelated to it. If the statement, "The wisdom of hearing will not become valid cognition either," is excluded without realizing that it is necessary, then combining the meaning of the scripture with the meaning of the verse is a non-essential case. Similarly, in "In order to reverse the untrue, the true is spoken," and so on, one should also look at it in this way.
