The nature of earth does not recognize me, therefore it is not a second kind of cognition like the consciousness of other people. However, because I have two natures, appearing to self-awareness and appearing to other-awareness. If it is said that the only one can recognize both self and others. Then, who recognizes these two appearances of self and other? If it is said that "I" recognizes them. Then, recognizing these two appearances will become a second appearance, wouldn't it become endless? If it is said that these two appearances and I are held by their own nature. If that is the case, then another "I" must be acknowledged to know "this is direct self-awareness," and because a knower's "I" is also needed, that would also become endless. Therefore, because there is no consciousness and no "I" that recognizes it, it appears as non-different. For the one that appears as non-different, the difference that appears, from the part that has become other, which part appears like blue etc. as existing in the external environment, that is false, it is unreal. Because blue and yellow appear as different, and happiness and suffering appear as different are mistaken, and because of being separated from these, consciousness also cannot understand. Therefore, all phenomena should be recognized as emptiness. If because appearing as different is false, then shouldn't differences such as blue and yellow be abandoned? If only realization, is everything non-different? Answer: In that, when one does not exist, both will disappear. Therefore, both are emptiness, that is its reality. Just like saying, from that, that is, taking one from consciousness and blue etc., if the appearing blue does not have non-difference, then both blue and consciousness will disappear. Or, just like consciousness, blue will also become real. If both are real? No, because it has already been explained that there is no recognition of difference. Therefore, the difference and non-difference of that consciousness are both empty, that is reality, therefore, the reality of all things is emptiness. Now it is the meaning of emptiness according to the Madhyamaka school.

In order to summarize, things exist separately here, they have a nature of depending on each other. If that is false, then those separate things will also become false. Therefore, this separate understanding related to external objects has the nature of depending on those separate cognitions. As mentioned before, the separateness of self-awareness is false. The separateness of things will also become false. Therefore, all things are not real, just like seeing two moons, it is the meaning of emptiness. But not all knowledge is cut off, because it has not been experienced. Although it appears due to being related to habitual tendencies, like flowers in the sky, everything is not real. It is said. Now, in order to explain the emptiness according to the Yogacara school, the following verse is stated: From the aspects of the grasped and the grasper, the nature of external objects does not exist. Because its nature is emptiness, it is thoroughly explained as without self-nature. Because it can be grasped, it is the grasped; because it can be distinguished and known, it is the grasper, which is consciousness. Because their (the grasped and the grasper) aspects are different, the nature of external objects, that is, the pure nature, does not exist, because it has not been experienced. Therefore, because there exists the nature of emptiness, which is the separation from the grasped and the grasper, it is explained that all dharmas are without self-nature. Now, in order to explain the emptiness according to the outsider's school, the following verse is stated: All of the aggregates and so on, the distinguishing characteristics of actions, that which possesses distinctions is also not itself, therefore they are also without characteristics. What hinders others from entering one's own realm is the characteristic of form. Because it can be distinguished and known, it is called consciousness, and so on. The distinguishing characteristics of actions of all the aggregates, ayatanas, dhatus, and so on, are also not themselves, because all dharmas have no action. Due to the distinguishing characteristics of action and agent, those things, that is, all things, are without characteristics, that is, emptiness. If all dharmas are truly empty, then the Bhagavan
