If so, even if the completely pure consciousness does not appear, even so, the gross appearance of the external environment, the appearing body itself is consciousness, or the gross appearance of the extremely subtle, since consciousness is only of the nature of truth, how are all dharmas emptiness? Here it is said, therefore, for the object and consciousness, whether the gross appears or not is its own nature, because it is only prohibited on one, it does not exist on many either. It is called, because it is the gross itself, it does not appear gross to the object of the extremely subtle or to the limb, and the nature of consciousness does not appear gross either, like this, gross is because it is related to different directions, and the different directions are also in a state of mutual isolation, so it is not one. Therefore, its own nature, that is, the gross thing itself, or that there is grossness on the extremely subtle, this is prohibited. Or because it is prohibited in the second chapter, gross is not a single thing. However, it appears gross on many extremely subtle, like this, many similar extremely subtle appear without being interrupted by others, it is said to be gross, then, here it is said, there is no gross nature on many extremely subtle either, because there is no grossness itself on each extremely subtle, and the difference of aggregation does not exist either. Also, it is said that the consciousness with the aspect of happiness is not gross, to this it is said, what else with the aspect of happiness other than the body will appear? Because what appears is the body itself, because it appears as the inner aspect of happiness or the aspect of suffering, there is no consciousness other than the gross aspect, because it has not been experienced very much. Gross is not a kind of one consciousness, because the different directions are different. The awareness that appears gross, even if it is many, because it does not appear to be different from each other, all dharmas are emptiness. Then if all things are only existing in appearance, even so, that itself becomes the view of only consciousness, how are all dharmas without self-nature? Here it is said, except for the completely determined appearance, the outer

Like abiding in the aspect of ignorance, the undifferentiated consciousness appears as differentiated, which is a corrupted appearance. As it is said, since the self-knowing nature of consciousness abides in its own nature alone, it should not appear as different, because when its own nature appears, there is no appearance of other. Therefore, it is not consciousness in difference. But if it is said that the two consciousnesses appear to each other, therefore they are different? If it is said that the two consciousnesses illuminate their own nature and the nature of others, then in that case, wouldn't the two aspects of appearing as self and other turn into self-knowing? One consciousness is not the consciousness that knows another consciousness. If one knows the self-nature of consciousness, it does not become the self of other-knowing. But if it is said that consciousness is not self-knowing, but because it is only the knower of others, do the two consciousnesses mutually grasp as different? If so, then just as the various limbs and the complete cutting off of various heroes, shouldn't the two consciousnesses also become invisible? Furthermore, the consciousness that says, "I see these," should not exist, because it does not manifest itself. Therefore, self-knowing should not exist in that very nature of consciousness. If so, then just as one does not see the mind of another person, the two consciousnesses should appear to see many. But if it is said that the self is what knows the two consciousnesses? If so, then is that self also self-knowing? Or is it the nature of other-knowing? If the self is of the nature of self-knowing, then because it only knows itself, it should not know others. But if it is said, what contradiction is there in the fact that I see different appearances? In that case, there is also the self-nature of the self, by which self-knowing nature does it realize the meaning? Consciousness? Or is it by the nature of other? If it is said that it is other-knowing by that nature, then it is not reasonable, because the self-nature of the self abides in the self-nature of the self. Because whatever is the self-nature that abides in its own nature is only the appearance that tends towards the self. How does it become other-knowing? But if it is said that the self has the nature of appearing to tend towards the grasping of other? If so, then that appearance of grasping other
