Then conceptual thoughts will arise. Therefore, the (knowledge) born from the senses, starting from desire, will lead to not seeing the external world. It is called: For the hidden meaning, whatever object on which words are definitely established, for that object, conceptual thoughts with the ability to speak and be spoken will arise. If so, establishing words on other objects and generating conceptual thoughts on other meanings, then it is not the appearance of meaning with word differences. Because the mind with word objects follows desire, therefore, if direct perception is with conceptualization, then sense consciousness will act with the power of desire, just like words. It does not depend on external objects either, just like words. Because words and the knowledge born from words do not see external objects. If it is said that establishing words on the nature of having meaning depends on the external world, then, just as desire causes the knowledge of words to arise, the conceptual thoughts born from the senses will also become without objects because they follow desire. If it is said that it does not follow desire, but sense consciousness depends on external objects and has objects, then, if direct perception follows external objects, then direct perception only grasps the immediate, so it will become a nature without conceptualization, and the establishment of words depends on desire, so it is not born from the senses. Then, if direct perception transcends the establishment of words, then it will become direct perception cutting off the nature of bright self-nature, like this, brightness is the self-nature of words, it is constant, if words disappear, then brightness will not be seen. If the self-nature of words is not direct perception, then what is its self-nature? Here it is said: If seeing form is form, then how to see mind with it? Even if there is its experience, then how does it become non-conceptual? It is called: Even if the self-nature of words disappears, it is still a bright thing, because for sentient beings who are reborn into other sentient beings with mind, form appears bright, these have already been explained. In addition, all knowledge is said to be with conceptualization, form

Although one sees form with the thought, "This is earth," how can one see that it is the mind of form? Because the thought, "I see form," does not exist at the time of determining form. If you say that form itself is consciousness, but not the consciousness that appears as form, then the mind of form must have experience. If there is no experience of mind, then one will not be able to know the very nature of what has been experienced, because without manifesting the experience of form, one will not understand the meaning of the experience itself. Furthermore, when seeing a beautiful woman, one will experience happiness and so on, but the thought, "This is happiness," does not arise. The experience of mind itself is without thought. If you say that without thought there is no experience of mind, then, if all awareness is with thought, how can the experience of mind be uncertain? Therefore, saying that it is with thought indicates that clarity has no personal experience. If you say that the experience of the mind of form itself is with thought, because it is later determined that there is mind, then, the answer is: If it is not experienced by itself, two thoughts will not be seen simultaneously. That is to say, is the experience of the mind of form by that mind itself, or by another mind? If we analyze these two situations, if we admit that it is experienced by the mind of form itself, then it will become simultaneous arising of the perception of seeing and the thought of form, because it is impossible to see two thoughts simultaneously. If you think that just seeing the form itself, you can gradually see your own nature and form, then, if seeing is one, how can you gradually see it? In this way, the sequence and the mind are not different, it will become no sequence. If you say that the sequence is also gradually seen by the mind, then it will become endless, because the sequence is also seen by the mind that sees the sequence, and that mind is no different from the mind, so it will become no sequence, and it is also necessary to point out other sequences that see that sequence.
