Sapar Grub. It is called this. In order to understand the minds of others, two valid cognitions are established. If the mind in the continuum of others can be understood by direct perception alone, then what can other valid cognitions do for this? To this it is said, because it is the cause of the application of terms such as speech. The word 'etcetera' refers to changes in the body, etc. That exists, that is, the existence of mind is established. But direct perception does not understand the minds of others, because it does not apprehend the differences in the minds in the continuum of others, such as desire, etc. Even if the mind in the continuum of others is not understood, all language will be interrupted. Thus, if the mind of another continuum is not understood, it is unreasonable to compose treatises, debate, and so on, and to engage in and withdraw from language in the continuum of others, for the purpose of making others understand. If only direct perception is the means of knowing, then self-awareness will become non-dual. Therefore, no one will enter. However, even if one knows the minds of others, as some do, that is not a valid cognition, because one only sees terms that are consistent with the minds of others. Therefore, although there is understanding of the minds of others, that which is understood is not a valid cognition. If that is the case, then entering into the reasoning of valid cognition will be abandoned. If language is abandoned because it cannot be understood due to the lack of other means, is not this certainty of 'no other means' itself a valid cognition? It has been shown that the certainty of non-existence is also subsequent inference. If one indicates in order to make others accept, is not making others accept also entering into subsequent inference of the meaning of others? Thus, anyone indicates himself by subsequent inference. If one assumes that others have minds because there is no other way, then the next life will necessarily exist. If one can live even without the next life, so one does not understand the next life, then how does one know that one can live? Thus, is the pursuit of life itself past? Or is it present?

It is a living being that arises in this way. For it, the past is not a living being, because it has passed. The present is also not, because it has been obtained. If it is said that the future seeks a living being, then does the future living being arise through this method? Not through other methods, this is understood through following and diverging, it is only inference. Therefore, saying that inference is one that has the fruit of doubt, that is also clear. Furthermore, is it only yours to apply terms to things that have not been examined in this way? Or is it someone else's? If it is yours, how can you show it to others, since it is not established for both? If it is someone else's, then there is no commitment, and in that case, understanding the minds of others will inevitably occur. That is also only inference. If you cannot understand the minds of others, then arguing is not reasonable. Because it is without deception, it is a valid means of knowledge. Because there are errors in some things. If you say it is not trustworthy, it is because you see the wrong signs, so it is like that. What is said is that inference should be accepted as a valid means of knowledge, because it is without deception. However, errors are seen in some inferences, such as saying that because he is his son, he is also blue. If because it is erroneous, you cannot trust everything, that is not the case. Whatever has errors should not be considered inference, because it arises from similar reasons. Because there is no connection other than between blue and its son. Therefore, because you do not understand the nature of the sign, and you mistake a non-reason for a sign, the deception appears to you to be like that inference. However, all inferences are like that, such as seeing and not seeing in similar and dissimilar instances, and if its son himself also has the qualities of the instance, then there are no other special characteristics that are different from those. Therefore, if you ask what kind of inference has no error, the answer is: From where do things sometimes accomplish the understanding of this? From that, it must arise, or it becomes its nature. What is said is, from signs such as being made and smoke
