If only direct perception and inference are taken as objects, then because the scope of activity is the same, it would become only one valid cognition. Even if the object is the same, isn't it that different conditions cause different valid cognitions? If it is said that the eye and so on are the conditions for direct perception, and the three characteristics are the cause for inference, then the statement "because the object to be measured is two" becomes unreasonable. The teacher also said that because there are two characteristics, therefore there are two valid cognitions. From the two causes and conditions, there are only two valid cognitions. The consciousness of the eye and so on changes into many forms due to the difference of conditions. For example, the cause of eye consciousness is the eye and so on, and the cause of nose consciousness is smell and so on, so it will become many valid cognitions. Regarding the situation where different objects to be measured become different valid cognitions, and because they have many objects such as blue, isn't there a fault of becoming infinite valid cognitions? No, because everything is its own nature, so when it is taken as an object, there is only one valid cognition. If so, even if the causes and conditions are different, since they are all उत्पन्न (Sanskrit: utpanna, IAST: utpanna, literal meaning: produced) from the senses, wouldn't everything become direct perception? No, because being उत्पन्न (Sanskrit: utpanna, IAST: utpanna, literal meaning: produced) from the senses itself is not the nature. For example, seeing two moons उत्पन्न (Sanskrit: utpanna, IAST: utpanna, literal meaning: produced) from the senses is also not a direct valid cognition. Being with the object is definitely a valid cognition, because there is no confusion about the object to be measured. Therefore, only two objects are two valid cognitions, otherwise it will become infinite valid cognitions. So, how does it become only two objects to be measured? Here it is said: To understand its own nature and essence, it is considered two objects to be measured. Because it manifests its own essence, although blue and so on are infinite, they are its own nature, because its own essence can identify and recognize. If the understanding is different, and the object to be measured is different, then in reality there will be no own nature, because the absence of manifest grasping is an unclear understanding, so it is not its own nature. Similarly, how is this the only object to be measured? Because some manifest their own essence, so it is their own nature.

It is hidden because it is realized that others are not clear. Because realizations are different, the objects to be measured are not different, because the difference established by dependence is the cause of investigation, so in reality there is no thing. Even if one thing has its own characteristics and general characteristics, because the object to be measured with the nature of direct perception and inference is different. If there is no opportunity for other valid cognitions for it, isn't it? In response to this, if the object to be measured is the ultimate truth, and because it is different, the valid cognition also becomes different, then at that time, the valid cognitions with infinite objects to be measured also become infinite, so the general characteristic is not the ultimate truth. However, it becomes different depending on whether the realization is different or inseparable, but in reality there is no object to be measured? In response to this, the essence of becoming an object is existence. Is it existence to be known as an object? Is it not existence to become an object itself? Isn't it certain that the horns of donkeys, etc., which have become non-objects, do not exist? Because seeing is established as existence, it is said that the object is existence. Therefore, the object to be measured of the ultimate truth is direct perception itself. So, if direct perception itself exists as the ultimate truth, isn't it that there is no non-direct perception for some? Direct perception itself becoming direct perception is not like that, even relying on others, it only becomes direct perception. For example, just as blue, etc., even relying on others, do not abandon the essence of blue, etc. So, how is it realized that what is hidden to others is a thing that has become direct perception to some? Isn't it that the hidden is also realized by the essence of direct perception? If it is also certain that some people have seen it, and you are also certain, then inference becomes meaningless at that time. However, if you want direct perception itself to be hidden, then how can whatever is direct perception become hidden? Is it hidden because there is no object for it? Not seeing, isn't it that there is no direct perception itself? How can it become non-existent because of non-object? Then, what is the valid cognition for things? However, inference itself is hidden
